What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Got my window AC in not picked up tonight. I'm doing a through the wall install with it though.

I'm taking the weekend off. No projects...just cooking, staying cool, and hanging out.

 

That's great. Miz Carol and 2 grandsons were riding with me on our place, we saw about 3 hen turkeys and a flock of nice size poultry. Then we saw 2 fawns

 

Well, it looks like the HVAC company that installed the ductwork goofed up. The guy our son bought the house from has his top guy come look at the system. He said they installed duct system wrong, it was trapping condensation, where they added the 2nd return, all the duct was the same size......the HVAC co needs to pay for repairs. Our son said it's blowing a lot harder now.

 

Some company showing up this afternoon. Then, more next week reaching a peak of guests around thu-fri.

By the time the first week of Aug is completed, we should be back to "normal routine" house and empty here.

Then............labor day weekend.......about 30-ish will show up!

I'm telling everyone (of the 30) that this is the last time. Getting too old for this chit.

Am I the only one, that when I look at a tree before a drop put a stick or stone where I want it to go. Then see how close I got to it

 

We are blessed with very thick smoke. Worst of the season so far. Trump needs to find a way to stick it to Canada so they clean up their mess.

 

Has anyone heard the expression, When all else fails, read the instructions

 

I got to 80 and I am done; all weeds the same height!

 

Been doing small projects around the house past couple of days. The weather has been something to deal with temp in the 90’s and dew point close to 70. I’m ready for cooler weather.

 

'Your package has made it to the DHL regional distribution center in Westboro, Ma. awaiting handoff to USPS.
Two days later: (it's like a twenty minute ride by car)
Your package has made it to the USPS regional distribution center in Providence, RI.

Why do I keep picturing this ? :

I was thinking to myself, "but . . . but . . . but . . . I'm pretty sure he isn't anywhere near 80." and my mind got in a loop there for a couple of seconds until it started making sense to me
