Beautiful picture from Harbour Breton. I'd like to go there soon myself.

In less than 10 minutes I got 3/4" of rain. A little over an hour later I had a bit over 1.5" of rain. Less than 2 hours later, I had nearly 3.75" of rain and emptied the gauge. Looks like I got another 1/2", so a total of 4.25" in a short period of time. Town had several road closures for flooding and washout. That included shutting down part of the main road between Concord and Keene (rt 202/9). I hear it was scary taking the off ramp to get to the detour area as it was 1/2 washed out also. Peoples driveways were washing out as well as basements/garages flooding.

Abutting town, Antrim, also had to shut down rt101, which is the main road between My town and Peterborough. I'm sure they had a bunch of washouts too.

Had a small washout from the hill behind my house. Nt bad, just left some debris in my yard (well, as of last night, we'll see about this morning).

Canada doesn't seem to care about fixing it either. Same crap every year.

If this keeps up, in a couple years Trump should be able to buy Canada at Fire Sale Prices.

Last August (the 8th IIRC) it was super rainy here, lots of rain for everyone, but apparently there was a big fat leaky cloud that decided to park over the north end of town and purge itself...24 hr rain total in that approximately 1 sq mile area was ~7.5 inches (some claimed a little l more) and the majority of that was in 2-3 hrs! There was water 2-3' deep in places on Main St, heck, I ended up with 13" in the shop/my office at work! Lots of vehicles flooded, and a couple houses had their basement walls cave in!
Crazy what a lil extra water can do! :hair:

New house right by the dock in Islington. It'll have a fine view.

If that is on the second floor and on the back side of the house looking out over the water, no need for a curtain. No one has Superman vision.

    Some have drones though

That house is a single story actually. Otherwise I'd agree.

Only next month now that I'll be replacing my roof and putting my room upstairs. It'll be a nice view from that window.

It was pretty bad today. For about an hour or so at the lake it was cloudy, but it wasn't clouds, it was smoke.

Doesn't the rain knock the smoke down, I thought it did?
