What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

I used the localist one to me for a few months after i ditched AccuWeather. They were hit or miss at best. In their defense, in this area i can drive 15-20 min in any direction and the weather can be different. Snow predictions are the worst.

Truethfully the main thing i need it for is rain predictions during dirt bike season. Other than that it would just be nice to know.

 

This happened shortly after the news journalists figured that we give a crap about celebrity's opinion of politics!

And here's why I'm my own cabinetmaker...

 

Half the time they give you the current conditions and it's wrong...

 

The one that gets me is when they predicted a high temp for the day or rain % for the whole day. Then I go into the hour by hour forecast and none of the temps match the predicted high and precipitation % doesn't match anywhere either.

Example: daily forecasted high is 75 with a 60% chance of rain. The highest hour by hour temp would show 73 and the highest chance of rain 50%. They can't even agree with themselves most times from what I've seen.

 

It's a rough guideline, nothing more, sometimes less.

 

This was John. He was the captain of a fishing boat which recently capsized, and he did not survive the incident.

My wife and i spent a few hours yesterday starting to paint the balusters in our railing. Took 2 coats for complete coverage. The black looks amazing compared to the original white.
