The weekend is here. Going out to dinner with my wife and daughter tonight.

Not sure what the day has in store for tomorrow, but I'd like to get out to the woods and do something. Either cut some trees for TSI or try to arrow a doe.

Supposed to get 0" - 12" of snow Sunday.

lukem you might wait until the snowfall and go Jeremiah Johnson style.

had two hard goes of css today, then a trip to town to pick up four chains I had sharpened. These guys do good work an$ they don’t like chains hanging about. You pay at dropping off, and they tell you to return late afternoon the next day.

the reason for paying ahead is evident by the two dozen uncollected chains with tags hanging on a wall.

Thanks for everyone's comments about Frank. His funeral is Sunday the 12th. We'll be helping his widow Vickie as much as we can, she'll let us. Idk if I mentioned it, but he was a retired veteran. He never talked about it, but I know he was a veteran. Not sure which branch. I'll find out more next Sunday.

My mom has a bent rim on her Ford edge. It's making her tire lose air fairly quickly. She apparently has the most rare factory wheels so finding a used good replacement isn't as easy as most cars. I found someone selling some in green bay that will ship. Just have to do this fully remotely so that adds to it. I have to keep my mom out of the details because she complicates everything as difficult as it could be.

Thanks for caring. Frank was a great guy. His last words to my wife was to look out for Vickie. When I heard that on Dec 7th, I knew he wasn't going to be around much longer.

Re moms car, she just can't get out of her own way, just like all dealings with her when she needs something. She made my dealing with the Yamaha dealer a couple of years ago way more difficult than it needed to be when I found the new Kodiak ATV she bought. She still hasn't learned her lesson and at 80 years old, she never will. She's stubborn and a pain. She could learn some lessons from Vickie, because she definitely won't listen to me, despite me knowing way more about pretty much everything than her. She's just too stubborn to listen.

I personally think that the repair shop dented her rim when they just had the car in for front wheel bearings and tie rod ends. She didn't have tire pressure issues before the repairs only 2 weeks ago. I can't prove it though.

Probably had the wheel stuck onto the car.....and had to beat it off to break it loose. Good luck when you approach them and ask about it.

I've been binging Family Affair the last rew weeks. I mostly remember the opening song music, kaleidoscope the little girl and butler. My aunt's (spent a lot of time at Grandmas  ) had a real Mrs. Beasley doll! It had a pull string that used to say things, but it was so worn out her voice was super scratchy and distorted, loved it!

I don't know why that picture distorted things so. It was an Iphone 15 pro.

Finally ordered two new toilet seats tonight. Mine is missing finish in a few places and theirs is just, eww. New seat looks cool, lift up the cap on the hinges and seat comes off, somehow pet hair (mostly cat) and when I clean it gets caught, eww again. I'll report back if it's as cool as I hope.

I don't see distortion, but looks to me like his head and your hand are closer to the lense and appear larger.

I believe it the multiple focus feature.. in old camera’s it would focus and things at different distances would blur… To prevent that it distorts some images size for clarity..

So others know I have met Saves and shook his hand; his hands are big and thick; he has a very quick wit and that same great smile. At Well Seasoned GTG he had a big lab (Molly iirc)
