Yes. I told him I didn't know if I would have the time but also need to find trailer for transporting. He said "they" could come in and cut them if I agreed to it and marked the trees. "They could use horses to pull them out. I don't know about that situation. I had thought about that possibility before I even met this guy. And now here it is presenting itself to me. I'm thinking of liability issues though. If someone got hurt. Mulling it over.

I'm going to guess the Amish aren't the insurance type. Probably wouldn't sue either but that might not be in there control. Tough call.

I have never had a bad transaction with any of them. And I have probably had at least two dozen in the last 12 years. This guy is new to the area. He stopped by and payed me the other day for the Ash logs. I've got to sit down tonight and figure up how many bd. ft. he needs to cover his list of boards he made up for me to build his first building, they will use that as shelter for now, then build house, barn, chicken coop, etc.

Then he told me his brother in law's house burned down the other day.:( Everyone okay, but lost everything. Amish community coming together and may want logs for that ASAP. :picard:We are going to talk again soon.

Busy day. Finished subfloor. Cleaned the chimney. Brought wood into the basement. Racked out the living room floor.

I like all forms of mtn dew. I don't drink coffee, I use dew for my caffeine.

This one is my go to in case I want a break from the traditional yellow green stuff. I call Dew my " liquicrack".
