    Yes. I actually liked it. My wife would never make it though. I definitely can't complain at all though. I usually have it make stuff like this that she won't make when I'm away either out hunting or something like that.

    I think you'd be surprised at TV prices now. You can get a decent 50" under $200 now

    My 55" we bought a few years ago was several times that cost.

    6 months minimum IIRC. I made some long ago and gave as gifts to family. I still have quart jars of the stuff. Of course I don't bake any more, so it will probably still be there when I die. The nice thing about it is when you take some out, just pour more vodka in over the beans and it keeps going.

    Edit: I made pint jars of vanilla , not quarts.

    Lol, I bought a commercial roll of saran wrap, like, 20 years ago, we still have it and use it. I had an aunt that married the owner of the restaurant she watiressed at, she jokes their roll outlived their marriage. Thanks for the tip on refilling. I bought a bottle of vodka, a 5th, finally got the beans in there tonight. Cool bottle, hinged cap. The split the beans vs whole reminds of drying wood bark up or bark down. Did you split your beans or whole?

    So I originally said I made quart jars - that is not the case, they are pints. I had to cut the beans into lengths in order to fit them in the jars. Looking at the liquid, I don't think I split them length wise as I don't see any seeds. It worked fine for me.
