That's funny cause our light flurries has turned into 2-4" , then 4-8" and now 8-12 or possibly even 16"" for Monday. What the heck did you do to send it our way? We have enough for right now :faint:

We went to a winery last night for a 5 course meal and wine pairing with two other couples and I am feeling it this morning. The food and wine was great though and lots of laughs with friends made it a great evening.

Nowadays gum is probably made out of a plastic product. Thanks for the picture. Around here we have a spruce tree that oozes pitch. Did that tree ooze the chicle or is it just under the bark? Looks like harvesting didn't kill the tree.

Edit: By the way, where is Kevin in the pic?

The guide stated that they would gouge the tree bark and let the sap flow downward to be collected. They had sense enough to let it heal for around 5 years before harvesting it again.

If fact the Maya ruins where this tree grew was discovered because of this system. The guide's father, as a young boy searched for these trees in the wild, when he came across the distorted landscape the hid the ruins below it.

Oh and Kevin, he was probably climbing the Maya pyramids. :)

I can hear the crunching sound its making while being split from here. Could you even imagine trying to split that with a maul?

So here's our snow so far. The wind is crazy. Probably only 3-4" so far but the wind has made crazy drifts. I have not shoveled anything on the patio here, but that drift is a good 2 feet tall. See the smoker, how high that drift is?
