x2!! It's never happened before, but delivery drivers usually put them in my enclosed porch, not on the doorstep to the porch. There is a fishing tournament here every year after New Years, people come right down our road to check out different parts of the lake, that's my best guess anyway.

Sure hasn't been much snowplowing this winter. The county was actually brushing alongside the roads yesterday! Spoke wit the foreman and said I suppose that since there is no plowing to be done, you have to do something, no? "Yep!"

I was really eyeing up the wood that was being cut down. Some usable ash, white birch, and useless aspen (wood snob). One of the guys on the crew was interested in it so I didn't grab any of it. He loaded it up after his shift.

This morning's walk showed that there are a few sticks of birch left (limbs) that I will probably grab since it is so close. Will always work great in the fire pit if nothing else.

Ended up with 16 sticks of firewood. Anything from 6" to 10' long but nothing larger than 6" diameter.

A fairly short while ago, what is now mom's room looked like a hole-in-the-wall building supplies warehouse. Now it just needs door and window casing.

Flooring is down in every room, and the stuff i found for the kitchen and living room is a very nice material, but the saw sure struggled to cut it. Soon there'll be a little more furniture here, and the spots in the kitchen with no flooring will be the cabinetry.

My bedroom has 2 sections, one is managing to serve its purpose as a place to sleep, the other is full of tools, materials and bins of keepsakes, I'll be able to clear it out once my new shed is dried in. Bathroom still needs a good bit of work. Utility room is full of garbage which I will haul away tomorrow, Saturday I'll bring out the washer and dryer (albeit won't be able to use the dryer for the foreseeable future until I can upgrade my electrical) and buy a water boiler to install.

Nothing like living in a house you are renovating. We did it with no kitchen for a couple of weeks and then no living room for a month or more. I had a sister-in-law who fed us meals until the kitchen was back up and running.

Horkn , I've been watching the crotchety crockpot again, turns out I only saw 1.5- 2 seasons. Holy cow if I watch 2 episodes back to back like last weekend, it starts to look like all self centered drama queens with issues. When we watched one a week on season one ~ two it was easy to follow and somehow not notice. Weird! Did you do it weekly, and have you guys done two in a row?

    Lol

We never binge watched it. Just 1 at a time as they were released. It's a great show, but after the first few seasons, it was very modern life, especially city living folks.

Okay, that must be the difference. The Ballad of Buster Scraggs is on now. It's bananas!
