That's terrible! I hope the truck is ok. I recall US 23 south of Ann Arbor having some ungodly holes too. Fortunately they were fixed the last time I went through there.

Remember, tis that time of year when roads will be breaking up. I see one county in MI has already posted the frost law.

A strip of TP folded in half on both sides prevents the issue

Well, it's "documented" to the extent of my texts and our FB messenger, no paperwork, like driving blind. I prefer 80% for the grease, to get it very crispy. The 90 I have to add oil to crisp it, but it's not the same crispiness. Draining the grease I take the pan off heat, tip it slightly with meat on high side and put paper towels on the low side, toss them after grease is absorbed. Canadian border VT I bet that's why WWW's been buying those tasteless preformed patties and seasons heavy, he's quite proud of his home-made burgers and hasn't made them in quite awhile. And meatloaf is differen't too.

Thanks Dennis. I cannot imagine what they are going through/dealing with. I liked supporting a neighbor (she lives on her ranch out here past me), and want to support her business even more since the tragedy. We'll see if she answers. I'll give it a few days and then "simply cancel" like FarmerJ suggested. I don't know of another supplier here but we have a butcher in town, it's $$ but it too is local.

Oh it's just a cute way to say i blew the leaves. A byproduct of doing that is that each blade of grass gets rustled up. Grass looks better after but I'm sure there's no real benefit.

I won't be finding my grass for quite a while as the temps are too cool (not cold), and there is absolutely no sun (hasn't been, won't be). Supposed to get more snow tonight I think. IDK, don't really keep track. Don't have a lot of snow cover, perhaps 8-10' from the last couple of storms (after settling and freezing mist/rain), but what is there will stay there for quite a while.

Took this picture Wednesday afternoon - no filters, no filtering. It is, and has been, so heavily overcast that even with the snow this is the "bright" part of the day.

Sorry, I'm not a fan of those days. Not sure why but we seem to get more of them up here than Colorado. Ick.

Unfortunately that has been what our days have been like for months. brightness wise, with just occasional brighter days. Actual sunny days happen once every 10-14 days. This isn't indicative of the whole state of course, just my specific little part of it.
