Well he originally hired me for this job (picture from his website). The guy who was doing it quit to go to school.
Kiddo was awarded a t-shirt for an "act of kindness" at school. Quite proud of her Teachers were issuing the chrome books to students, kept calling the name of a boy that was having emotional problems so she walked up and offered to bring the boy his chrome book to him. That said, isn't that common courtesy? Can't say there were emotional problems when I was in her grade beyond friends and boyfriends drama etc. but many would have offered the same back then, same with your childhood, right? Idk, we didn't have ADD and ADHD, autism and transgender issues... Either way glad her action was rewarded, sweet and kind kiddo, and can't hurt to reinforce it but I and WWW still found the award helping a fellow student interesting.
Kindness is starting to be lacking out there in the big world so I know teachers try to encourage it as much as possible within the school.
I see the intention of the reward, but bummer kindness is lacking now. I see video clips of bad behavior (mean behavior) in schools from other places and obviously we're not immune to it. A girl her age moved here from a rough town on the Texas border and her dark/mean actions and behaviors have shocked me. Too bad because they are the only two kids that live way out here full time I do know though, that kiddo will be a role model whether she realizes it or not, just a sweet and caring kid. Would help if she smartened up to others like I mentioned above, but she's just a kid and will have to learn.
I can't believe that many people fell for the gas story. That's an old story and even as poor as my memory is for jokes, remembered that one about 1/2 way thru As for this scenario, hmmm, I might have read that type of story a time or two. Everyone wants to believe the best of others, which is the way it should be. But at some point you gotta wise up about some people.
Kindness is pretty much a super power anymore. Good for you raising her right and keep up the good work.
My old location is now moved and reopened. Can't wait to check it out tomorrow, see a few ex-coworkers, and then be thankful I got out of there
Might be too late for them with the amount of damage some of them have. At any rate, not worth the chance of pi$$ing off the wrong people. Wish I could buy her a nice little house somewhere sensible, but money don't grow on trees
I thought it was funny. Glad I didn't form any emotions until after I had read the whole thing. I could have read it before, but I forget some things and it is new again!
This has been in rough shape for a long time but man, it's gone quickly lately. Soon it'll just be a pile of rotten sticks on the ground.
Plan is to prepare the shotguns for pheasant and turkey and get what’s needed to pattern them for the loads tomorrow morning. both are Turkish knock-off of the Benelli M1 shotgun
She will be getting her nose wet pheasant hunting this year for sure. last winter we went to Idaho and she chased up 4 dove when we stopped for the night. she loves to chase the pheasant dummy in the yard too. I just can’t hide it from her.
