What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

40's today,50 tomorrow,then back to 40's for a week(days).Can I laugh at the east people?

 

It's supposed to be in the 50's Monday & Tuesday, 60 Wednesday then back in the 40's here.

 

Up early to watch the ships come in. Beautiful cool breezy morning on the rocks of the breakwater. Bride was sound asleep when I got up.

Snapped this picture of the Legend of the Seas....not the ship we are taking but thought it was pretty cool to see.

 

Nice looking picture. You guys enjoy yourselves in the warm weather but just remember, there's a snow shovel with your name on it when you come home. Only teasing, have fun!

 

And as for me, I'm off to construction shortly. I need to skin a roof and the sidewalls of this addition before the flakes start flying later on.

It is a cold one this morning at just below zero. I have a bunch of things to do today and am unsure of what I will actually do. Would like to cut some wood for a while if the wind is not blowing. Sitting here getting some caffeine going right now. But time to get up and get the coffee going for the wife and breakfast for her and the kids.

 

Cold here too. Just below -19. Supposed to stay nice and clear here thru Thursday, and then 2-4 inches of snow. Hope Schlot is having a good time down where it is warm.

Did not even get enough snow for them to cancel school. Oh well I still get to go on a field trip with my 3 year old today.

Got the addition skinned and all the materials into the garage with a tarp covering the doorways.
Good to go until we get back.

Now, as we watch the snow fall (lightly), we wait to see what old man winter sends our way for the morning.

 

NOT FAIR!

 

Well it has been a busy few days over the weekend. Worked for brother in the morning Saturday, and worked at home in the afternoon. And took son to basketball. Sunday afternoon for 1.5 hours we had the indoor skating rink rented for our kids birthdays. They got to invite anyone in their grade. Two of them are in fifth grade and one is in 2nd. Help me, please. So they invited everyone in fifth grad and everyone in second grade. Luckily not everyone showed up. We ended up with 30 kids and our kids. That was plenty! They all had fun though and it was a lot fun to watch the. I managed to keep them under control and we only had a few bumped knees and heads. None serious though. Thankfully!

Because Christmas is so close Mommy and the kids decided to take up a collection and donate all gifts from the party to the local SPCA. I thought that was cool. Their classmates/friends really came through for them! They collected over $200 and two large totes full of dog and cat food! And some kitty litter and pet toys! They wanted to bring it to the SPCA today but they were closed. Going to have to be tomorrow.

The kids actual birthdays are this week. Two turning 11 and one turning 8. Help me, please. I'm not kidding.

My wife got her Mom and Dad to watch them for an hour tonight so we could sneak to the store and get their gifts from us. One each.

During the day I was able to get some things done at the camp and in the garage while I waited for it to warm up some. Then did some cutting in the afternoon. That cold fresh air is great and tires you out!
