I thought that my weight loss for the last three days was more then I wanted so some small sandwiches on rolls were eaten yesterday for lunch and supper along with an ice cream cone, chocolate bars with a nice cold glass of milk. It did the trick, the scales said 202.8 this morning so it's time I get on the treadmill again with some Dean Martin on the old Laser disk/CD player and get down to 200 before Monday. It has been 62 days with a weight loss of 24.4 pounds, the old waist size of 34 is fitting me again but the 38 waist need suspenders and the 36 waist is a bit loose.

I thought our big meal was on Sunday but it's Monday for supper.

I had told the wife that I would wash her car, yesterday I took care of the flowers in the cemetery so today I washed her vehicle. It wasn't real hot but it sure was humid.

The Education Minister for the province of Ontario announced that cursive writing will be re-instated in the core curriculum this September. This should be interesting mainly because a percentage of the teaching staff probably will have to learn it too .......

Tough news for sure. We have a 11 year old yellow lab. Arthritis so bad in front paws and legs it hurts him to walk. After discussion with our vet we have decided next Sunday will be Leo's last day with us. Lot's of tears being shed here. Certainly gonna leave a giant hole in my heart.

41FanForLife so sorry to hear about Leo. It's so hard but it sounds like you're making the right decision. We definitely don't get enough time with them.

I've cried more this week than I think I have in the past 10years. My prayers are with you and your family.

Don’t watch Marley and me. I’m a lab guy. Had lots in my life. I couldn’t even start knowing the outcome.

My daughter loves a movie called "a dog's journey". My wife could never make it through without tearing up (me too sometimes). We've already told her it's not allowed on the tv for a longggg time.

Same here. Did you know there's a couple other movies related?

Can't watch any movies where the dog dies. Experienced way too much of that for real. Can't see it as entertainment. I get real sad every time some on here losses their fur friend. I think most everyone on here loves their dog just as much as I do mine.

The washing of the car with two sessions on the treadmill were good for a weight loss of 1.6 pounds, I'm at 202.2 after hitting 203.8.

Hopefully I hit 200 by Tuesday if not before, chicken on the grill with a hot salad is on the menu for Monday night. I had planned a steal and pasta meal but the wife doesn't want that yet so we'll have the chicken.
