I was thinking about it. Lady has some twine and those little wood snowflakes that get etch-burned. Dollar tree is your friend.... I feel bad if I got an ad up and it ends up working but I can't stop folks from buying that sorta stuff. On a similar note, she's working for Amazon part time as a flex driver. It's alright and we go on those drives with her as delivery helpers. I should have snapped a picture or two but one of the boxes was from an online wood-bbq store. I forget which one but it was a decent sized box and I had an inkling if it was some birch or some other kind of wood for some decor in the apartments we delivered it to. I don't recall seeing anything saying what the contents were but the minimum was about 40-50 dollars for the box order. probably split... now I can't help but think of the Wayfair ad for a smoothed out log seat or side table for $200.
I'm still waiting on a new receptacle, kiddo is with him today so very good chance they'll remember today. I wanted to tell you regarding maybe lint/dust got in it. Well, when attached it the first time the line was too short to reach, so I installed it ................... upside down. That old laundry room is a wind tunnel again, add the sand/silt storms this year from the lake draining, fingers crossed that's it and that the dryer electronics are ok too
We were looking at a truck for husband at a corner car lot, guy looked at my late 90's Tahoe and said "I heard there's problems with the fuel filters inside those gas tanks I have a warranty I can sell you", I declined, and it went out with in 6 months. It cost a ton, they had to drop the tank to replace it.
I'm actually itching to go to work Monday Trying to get some time with parents over the weekend. Roping mom into coming out for a couple dump runs tomorrow.
Went and got a set of pallet forks for the skidsteer today and picked up a country pro 25-ton splitter. there’s like only 3 manufacturers of the box store splitters so what color do you really want it in is what it comes down to. That $1000 25-ton splitter is no different than that $1500 25-ton splitter… especially when both model number start with “YTL-###-###”
It’s not all that often we get out when it’s just us, but we escaped to Stowe, VT for a few nights while our kids are with their grandparents. Beautiful weather.
It’s beautiful out today so I decided to get the bar cleaned up and then it hit me. Drawers!!! cleaning tires into a giant mess I’m tired of moving the top tote to get to the bottom tote plus they get in the way when we do get togethers or just when I’m cooking out in the bar. The totes work great outdoors because of the rubber seals so I want to keep them. No pallets involved in the making of these. Just scrap and old 250 gallon tote support bars. It’s out of the rain and weather and never gets wet but I’m still going to stain it all. https://youtube.com/shorts/6Y3kkftx1vc?feature=share
It seems that the older we get, the faster the clock turns. I don't understand it either. Makes me dizzy just trying to think about it. I have two that are now 50 and 51. Sweet girls. Very caring.
Our youngest son and family came down for Easter and to exchange Christmas gifts. I was dealing with some back issues so we didn't get a chance to get together during the holidays. We had a great time when they were here, especially after we were done eating. We brought 2 22 pistols and my 16 gauge shotgun out to make some noise. I let my 19 year old grandson shoot my shotgun. He said it was loud and it did give his shoulder a nice jolt. Only one shot with the shotgun. Ammo for that is expensive. We took turns emptying mags of 22 ammo. Our youngest granddaughter who is 16 got a chance to fire a weapon for the first time today and she enjoyed it. Glad she is not afraid of it and her dad did a great job with teaching her about firearm safety. All in all, a good day. I did spot a few trees that came down over the winter that I will have to get cut up.
Local news just reported a 39yr old man was found dead yesterday. Was trimming a tree up in a ladder when a limb fell on power lines and it electrocuted him. Stay safe out there FHC friends.
I think back to a conversation with my great aunt. Like 2008-9 she kept talking about “the kids”… she was talking about my parents who would have been like 68- 70 at the time. She passed at age 92.
This is a real today Easter Morning picture taken by my daughter in law during an early morning hike up Mt.Pisgah
