My bro in law is tiling our five acres of land I let him crop for free. Lots of equipment running.

I asked the operator if he would run a tile line close to our house and said sure. Here’s something you don’t see everyday.
A GPS equipped tile machine in a backyard.

I have to ask. What is a tile machine and what are they doing in the fields with it? I thought at first it was a spelling mistake and you meant tilling.

They put a system of drain tiles in the ground about 4 feet deep and route it to a creek. So the farmer doesn’t bury his equipment in a wet year.

Storm coming in again tonight. Winter isn't done yet. They were saying another 5-7" of wet heavy snow midnight through tomorrow afternoon. I brought a gorilla cart full of wood up to the patio. I've got enough gas in the snowblower for 1 last time this year.

I paid that in 2015, but it included all new baseboard heating units for two stories, and all new pex's and removal of the copper pipes which had began to erode and leak. Harder to retrofit an existing home than to install it before it is all finished off.

I used my snowblower after the last blast we had and hopefully I can drain the tank soon. We have no significant snow in the next few days.

I wouldn't do anything to the snow blower until you start cutting grass. You put your equipment away before then and you can guarantee that it will snow.

I FINALLY got all my permits and documents I needed to be able to leave Sacramento. Headed to Houston to unload Monday. Then head for home by 4/4.

I sat in Sacramento from 3/13 until 3/24. Either waiting to unload due to weather and pizz poor planning on the receivers part or the same for my reload. Sold it as 42,000 lbs, actually weighed 50,000. Gross weight is 87,000 lbs. ain’t rolling without permits. Customer is in Turkey for the weight permit approvals and they are 9 hours ahead of Sacramento time. That alone added 20 hours delay Wednesday into Thursday.

Seems there’s also a hydraulic level kill switch on the machine too.

it got to this point and the angle was enough, it took them 4 hours to find that “problem.”

I got to Santa Clarita CA which is the NW side of Los Angeles. I’m taking I- 10 all the way to Houston.
I’ll leave at 4 am to not have to struggle with 2 hours of traffic at 15 mph.

I went into a mall yesterday and as I walked by Victoria’s Secret I noticed they had a sign board stuck outside the door.

Naturally the depth is dependent on where they are draining. I know of one near us only a foot deep!
