Been such a mild winter compared to others, made plowing trickier than usual! My winch went down on my main snow plow (the grizzly) another on order, so the Kubota filled in. Thank God for float mode otherwise I'd be digging into the ground! First season using the box blade to, never thought it would come in real handy for snow removal but wow, both directions forward or reverse it moves alot of snow!
Been an awful winter to try to stack snow and keep banks higher and not taking up more space. Every time it gets good ramping it warms up and gets wet chit that won’t work. Solid pile 4 feet tall
Two years ago I tore my left pectoral muscle and it has been giving me shoulder trouble ever since. It got so bad a few weeks ago I wasn't sleeping and my left arm was useless. I have tired everything and finally went to a neuropathist and he fixed it in 3 days. I still have some excruciating soft tissue work to do for several weeks but the results are unbelievable so far. Pec hurts like a mother#@()&$+ during treatment but I can use my shoulder again. Fair trade.
Sad day today. Our 19 year old cat lost the ability to walk yesterday afternoon and won’t eat now. She has a tumor on her back leg that’s steadily gotten worse. I’m honestly not much of a cat guy but I have a soft spot for this old girl. We will have to take her in today and have her put down. She hasn’t turned mean or gotten snippy from the pain she just keeps on going with the good attitude. Her not eating means she doesn’t get the pain medication in her food now and it shows. It couldn’t have happened at a worse time either.
So ordered a mig welder last week, was supposed to be delivered Sunday. I get a delivery notification and I think to myself odd, I never heard anyone outside. So I go out and look, yep I was right, no package outside. I look at the delivery picture and it isn't even my house! I believe the fedex guy stole the welder. He scanned it, and than took a picture of another house with a package that doesn't even look like a welder on the porch. Shot an email off to fedex and 3 days later they finally admit it is "lost" SMH First time I ever experienced this.
Oh boy, didn't even think about it, my mother is not too far from there and I bet she'd love the kraut burgers too! Just called, they are still making them one Wed/month after all these years. If she has time, I'll put an order in for 1/2 dozen uncooked ones to freeze for me and treat her and husband to lunch if they pick up. YUM
I had to read about it Dennis. One of those bells and whistles us old grouches don't mess with. Here's one explanation that told me what was going on. Darn sure worked though. That tractor went near dead quiet but I could still hear ambient noise. I have the 3M bluetooth headphones I usually use on the tractor or with the chainsaw and they "muffles" the noise like I expect earmuffs to do. So I'd have to turn volume up to still hear (usually Podcast, audio book, etc). This allows me to keep volume at normal level. And for all you younger generation that know about this stuff.... Get off my lawn!!! Lenny How the AirPods Pro noise-cancelling feature works Apple uses their custom active noise cancelling technology for the AirPods Pro. The system is equipped with two microphones, an inward-facing mic and an outward-facing one. The outward-facing mic analyzes and detects noise coming from the outside so that the system can generate an anti-noise waveform to cancel it. The inward-facing mic listens for and cancels any noise that escapes from the external mic before it gets through to your ears. Apple claims that its software allows noise reduction to be continuously adjusted at 200 times/second. This is made possible by their new H1 chip technology. Still, there’s no headphone set that can entirely remove surrounding noises as all technologies focus on lowering background sounds instead.
So I dreamt my neighbor stole soil from my land. I got home, backed in my driveway, and I barely fit the car in because there were 2 holes dug in the driveway, and right on the other side of the fence was 2 big heaps of soil, obvious as anything. they say dreams mean something, well I'm not sure what to make of that one.
