You are always looking for new vehicles. There’s a start!

It’s February and you live north of the 45th parallel? Just a thought. Ice and snow are a real possibility? I just had to plow my driveway but I didn’t complain to the town that it snowed.

    Yes, if you have such.

Someone else owns the semi trailer, and intends to get rid of it after winter. That's a start, but that one is arguably less of an eyesore than the derelict car and half scrapped pickup.

Yes, but this is an issue of water runoff freezing up on one part of the road the road to the point that it develops ruts and a vehicle can bottom out on it and cause damage. There's a seniors complex on the road and ambulances are not infrequent visitors. It's a landscaping issue, potentially on someone's private property (the source of the runoff), but something has to be done. Digging a ditch on side of the road would help, but if the water is flowing across driveway space, that would require some kind of work done on the property to redirect it.

I don't complain to anyone when I have to clear my driveway (i complain, but not to anyone ) , but the department of highways has a responsibility to keep the public road safe for travel within a reasonable time frame.

Plenty of companies around that'll pay you cash and just come with a rollback, load it and gone. Easy peasy.

There's plenty of derelicts in the cities here in our nation too. Trouble is, they can vote!

Afraid I'm all out of the fancy synthetic Vo5 premix, so thought I'd try coconut oil. Kinda melts when warm like crisco mentioned in the deep fryer thread:rofl:

Here you can claim and abandoned vehicle, you should look into that. Then sell them for the metal scrap $$

Better to hold the dirt bags responsible though. Might help discourage the behavior.

So there is a rumor going around the city that our store is moving to the mall up the road.

Now that you mention it, I don't know about public lands. Interesting the city has not impounded them yet.

We don't have council where I live, just a committee that takes care of services through fees and private contractors. They have limited power when it comes to things like public land etc.

For now anyway, it looks like that may change in the somewhat near future and we may get some form of council. I have mixed feelings about that.

I just got shanghai'd by a super duper magnet on my fridge. Most hair is done but have some damaged in back that I put more oil on and clipped with a barrette. The magnet sucked it of my slick hair as leaned over to water a plant next the fridge.
