    Had no idea WTH a "runnings" is. Thought maybe it was some kind of fancy schmancy out east name for a foot race or marathon or something!

    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    Enjoy your new store.

    When I read the article, it sounded like Runnings were taking them over, but the Achilles Agway name was going to remain. Brand familiarity would make sense is folks are comfortable with the business.

    It's a joke. Because the Ridgeline isn't a truck, just like that garage isn't really a garage.

    Some of today’s exercise is a long walk through the woods. Some wind noise, but generally quiet. Cooler temperature.(31) Sometimes stopping and just listening to the peace. That was the best part of when I use to hunt. Just the peace and quiet. F5C4AE60-182B-4E8B-89F4-0972CB4BEB11.jpeg

    This is the new wall they built just below the dam on the Oswegatchie in Ogdensburg. Interlocking, large, concrete blocks. Replaced the old wall that was badly damaged by rodents, erosion, and recent flooding over the last 4-5 years. That old wall must of been 100+ years old, just guessing.This was a few days ago while out for some exercise. Can’t wait until they get the trail paved and landscaping finished down there. They left it blocked off since late Fall. 53A8F753-4F77-4FEE-BD5D-C7F3616A1908.jpeg

    Do you recall the text I sent you of mine singing "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas"?. Just like you've warned here before she doesn't like singing infront of an audience now.

    Someone indicated on the town FB page that basically said there wouldn't be any changes. But if they don't make changes to it, it doesn't really seem to fit with Runnings' business model - going by the ads for their Claremont store anyway. Heck, at the bottom blurb at the bottom of this announcement off the Runnings website it says this, "Runnings is a privately held retailer selling an extensive selection of pet supplies, sporting goods including hunting and fishing equipment, clothing and footwear, lawn and garden supplies, housewares, tools, farm supplies, toys, and outdoor equipment."

    Agway is a little place that doesn't sell clothes, sporting goods, tools, homegoods, power equipment etc. They sell lawn and garden stuff (manual equipment only), pet supplies (with some livestock stuff thrown in), canning and sugaring supplies, wood pellets, loam, mulch, patio pavers and local crafts (maple syrup, locally made ice cream, ornaments etc). They also sell a large selection of garden plants - annuals, perennials, herbs, vegies, fruits, shrubs, trees.
