Appreciate the offer B...I'm actually just sneaking in an hour or two here and there when I can...which honestly I didn't think I'd even get that much once winter set in, but here we are, winter took New Years off apparently!

Caffeine! Almost time to get the saws ready for some cutting of firewood. First have to bring my daughter to school though. Then I will get some down and bucked up before a tractor showing at lunchtime. Will have to rinse the tractor off good before that. Dat going to be a chilly rinsing at about 35 at 11AM!

I did some cutting again yesterday but didn't last very long. I didn't even burn a tank of gas. Still I enjoyed it while I was out there...until the hurt just got too much.

No, but the 15% off bag sale at Menards helped take the sting off a little. I bought 200' of 10-3 and 250' of 12-2.

Man looked tractor over well today. I showed him how to take the backhoe off. And front bucket. And that the loader comes off as well. He liked it very much. Said he will shop around to see what he can get for an interest rate and if they will give him a loan for it. Has a down payment to give them. So we will see what happens. I’m hoping he can buy it. Although I thoroughly enjoy working with it, it is expensive. I’ll go with something much cheaper to use for the next 4-5 years after this one is sold.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. You have done better than me with keeping up with the birthdays. My day was quiet. The kids all called me. One daughter made a meatloaf for my supper.
Cindy gave me a cupcake and card. Went to the doctor today. He increased my fluid pill trying to pull of some retained fluids. Bathroom and me are good friends.
Looks like we have some ice storms heading our way. Never know how those will play out.

Balmy 60 and DAMP here. Been foggy and misting for 48 hours. Ground is so cold after last week everything is sweating.

Did a little wiring in the shop today. The breakers are NLA but I did find some that are compatible so I don't have to swap the box. Also added a few circuits for dust collection and my new planer.

I'm pulling power from the shop to go to the barn. I'll only have 30A 220VAC to the barn but that should be plenty for now. If I ever need more I'll probably set a new remote meter for the house, shop, and barn. Everything is peiced together, but fully functional.

Barn goes up in 7 days then I have to hustle and get things ready for goat kidding season in mid Feb. Shouldn't be a problem, but don't want to get too confident.

We got another 7” of snow today. Went out for about 2 hours and pushed snow with the ATV.

Nice to meet you Farmer, we don't get a lot of snow here but what we do get is always whipped into high snow drifts, like alps lol. But, we had a very nice white Christmas and New Years with snow falling down in flakes :) (instead of dust snow flying sideways lol). I hear MN has brutal winters.

PS, my ancestors are from MN, paternal Lyons and my Grandma grew up in Walnut Grove and married an off spring. Paternal originally from Sweden and Norway.

Picked up a bunch of organizer bins at harbor freight to attempt to clean up my coffee can, plastic packages, cardboard boxes, pile of mess nut and bolt collection shelf(ves). Worked on it about two hours and quit when I kept getting the urge to sweep it all in a trash can and start all over. This will take some baby bites to get done.

Still working on my timberframe carport/pavilion. One timber at a time in the shop and getting all the mortise and tenon work done with the wood stove and radio going. Being a good winter project.
