Wakey wakey rottiman. Time to get up. That was just a dream you have been having. No, it is not your last day of work. You still have another five years to go and we need you to train a new guy as well. See you there bright and early.

Yeah, tomorrow a.m. is going to feel strange for sure, but somehow, I'll endure...... . Really looking forward to being able to get to the wood when it gets alittle warmer. For now, I have a buddy who just had his 13th surgery for cancer yesterday. He is self employed so I am gonna keep his operation going until he can get strong enough to come back. Both he and his wife are battling the Big C at the same time. Rough situation for sure, so I'm glad I can give him a hand.................Everybody stay safe today.

Taking care of your friend's biz while he gets better sounds like a perfect way to transition to being retired... hope he's better soon. Have a great last day at work today Rotti... :dancer:

Good morning, it's clearing up and gonna' be mid40's. Too soggy to get out of doors to play with chainsaws,,dang it!
CONGRATS, Rottiman, on the retirement,,I sure hope you have some good fishin' gear!!
The old 12 ton Sony tv made it to my truck, now to take it to the Transfer station and kick it out. The new rig I set up seems to have a great picture but the sound is lacking,,I need to play with it some more.
Have a good day out there and be safe. Peace.

So I look outside and there's this big bright thing in the sky. I feel like I've seen it before...but not for at least a month.

Hoping to get a day off Thursday and spend some time outside...before I hit the road to MD on Friday.

Yep. It's so weird looking up and seeing blue.
    Not sure how to react.
Might just have to go outside and stare at some firewood for a while.

The sound on our Samsung alone is pathetic too GD. I finally found what we needed at Radio Shack. A digital to analog box that takes digital audio output and adapts to the analog inputs of our older stereo. It's awesome and easier to hear subtle high end stuff like dialog in movies and the news, and low end stuff for action movies.

Yeah, flat screen TVs don't have the room for proper speakers. You can get a sound bar, but a stereo hookup is the best. You don't need Dolby pro logic for the nightly news, but it's definitely nice, necessary IMHO, for movies.
