I'm so sorry Larry! That said I wish I had not got on the merry go round and broke my ribs, I should have know better but seemed so natural to me in the moment. Anyway, the pain is less than 25% of what it was when it happened, but still wakes me up all night. Drives me CRAZY to hear the clicks/pops while trying to sleep after changing positions. It is what it is.

I climbed a 3 step ladder the other day to shoot some nails in with a pneumatic nailer into a header husband was holding to secure it so he could finish the job. Eeeks, dang giant heavy nail gun bruised the inside of my forearm but I was also a bit scared and very cautious being 2.5" up the stool. Sucks, I climbed a 40' ladder while pregnant 12 years ago to help secure plastic tarp for beetle kill treatment on a tree and now I suck.

I was pushing back the briars with the front loader this afternoon and found a ground wasp nest. Bailed as quickly as possible. Got stung twice in the temple and twice on my back. Had to park the tractor after dark.

The last time I had a run in with ground wasps I was stung 12 times on my stomach which was much worse. Thanks for asking.

    What a day yesterday.

It is carriage days festival in town. My friend and I went to the tractor pulls and it turned south fast… One of the younger guys was at 10000 lbs on the pad and flipped his tractor over. The bolts in his drag, tip bars on the back where either in wrong or sheered off there was to much happening to know for sure. We where just talking about a guy I knew growing up that flipped his tractor trying to pull a willow stump when we heard the bang.

The whole crowd ran up and we picked the tractor up off the young man. He was screaming bloody murder… The steering wheel landed on his chest and his leg was mangled pretty badly. It was a blessing that he had the 10000 lb on the sled because the second row of blocks are what saved him and stopped the tractor from crushing him completely. He took off far to aggressively… My friend and I started yelling to clear out because people where crowding around like a bunch of animals trying to take pictures and blocking the path for EMS to get in when they arrived. The age of cell phones is disgusting at times…

I haven't heard anything on how he is doing as of yet but I was told he broke almost all of his ribs.

The tractor pulls stopped after that and everyone loaded up there tractors and went home. I have to say in all the years of watching the tractor pulls that’s a first…

    I really hope he’s doing ok…

You description was enough that I could just visualize that happening. I hope he recovers OK. I hope there are lessons to be learned from this so it doesn't happen to someone else.

Love the pics. Very neat install. There is an older gentleman about a mile up the road who has that on his property line. Been there about 5 years. Went by a few months ago and saw a big section smashed up. Some car went off the road, over a ditch and hit the fence. Went by this past week and saw that it has now been replaced with the same material.

Are you going to finish filling it, or just take a partial load?

Three days at our Balloon festival selling sweet corn, that came from the northern edge of the State. All gone down here.

Across from our station, we got to enjoy the craftsmanship of a chainsaw artist, who made numerous items for auction. One of the guy from the club ended up with a couple items.

The down side after late nights is the tear down and clean up. Rained most of Sunday, so I caught up on my football recording from Saturday.

Been waiting on this $3 truck part for a while. Looks like USPS is putting some miles on the box.
