Looks like a relatively cool and not sunny weekend. Aka probably not boating unless tomorrow gets a lot sunnier than they are saying.

Oh well, I have plenty to do around the house and especially outside. With it not being hot, I can do more fence hole digging. Fun times

Ugg, kiddo sick for a couple days, not too bad except fever. Hit us last night, it's the flu, chills, fever, headache, sore throat, body aches. She's doing a great job taking care of us :)

Planted my bee balms, sea Holly's, and columbine plants yesterday. It will be nice to hopefully have some color every year in that spot and hopefully no hassle. These all should be able to grow taller and faster than any weeds. The area is mulched and several layers of mulch and landscaping fabric. Pita to dig to the soil underneath but this should be nice.

Today is only 64° so far. I see we might not even get up to 70°. Good digging weather at least.

Fence doesn't build itself.

A while back, I grabbed some ash from a fallen tree along the roadside. (sorry buZZsaw BRAD not orange cones were used :D )

I left the major portion of the tree sitting there as it was hollow for about 30 feet or so. Didn't feel like cutting through all that ant crap and dirt like insides of the tree. Except now, the temps are a lot cooler and every time I drive past that spot, 99 catches me looking at "my tree"

I think I may take a trip back there this week and grab some more and just split on site. Hopefully, the guts of the tree will fall out just fine and I'll have some nice outer ring of the ash for burning.

The Wood Wolverine gave me a good idea to use one of the rounds for the fire pit. We have some guests showing up in a couple of weeks and it'll be a neat fire!

    I'll get some pics.............:handshake:

I HATE PLUNBING! Washing machine took a poop. We bought a new yesterday and they delivered it today. I spent the day trying to get the old hoses off. Finally cut the pipe. I was at the store when the salesman showed me some Shark Bite valve. You just cram them into the pipe. What a joke. I could of taken a shower under them they leaked so bad. Went back to the store and got the fittings to do it the old fashion way. Still have a very slight leak but will tackle it Weds. I HATE PLUMBING!

Now one for TrinitySouth99 What kind of ship. Tanker?

Well it looks like I'm not burning in my pit anytime soon  . I husked a few dozen ears of corn and tossed the husks in the pit. I started to light them with some kindling and started hearing squeaking sounds. At first I thought it was just a toad then I realized it was something more than that. I quickly put the fire out when I realized there was a nest of baby bunnies in middle of the pit.

Three simple rules of the trade:
"HOT" goes on the left "COLD" goes on the right and CHIT flows downhill. No plumbers crack either Marshel54 :emb:
