Brutal hot and humid today. Dew point in the 80s is never a good time. Glad I got my outside stuff done early.

Made and canned 16 quarts of salsa and picked and froze 8 gallons of green beans.

If it cools of some I need to get the peaches picked.

Picked another 60 or so lbs of tomatoes today.

Last night was an exciting time. Felt and heard a short rumble, just long enough for me to have the thought that it was pretty late for a fully loaded log truck to be going by. Then there was a loud bang as the house felt like something had picked it up and then just dropped it. I seriously thought something nearby had exploded. It was a minor (2.3) earthquake centered about 3 miles south of me (basically at the far end of my street - just a couple of "blocks" past the T" . The funny thing is that the report I read (Earthquake track) said it was in Antrim, but the airport is in Deering. Of course another report said it was near Keene. If they were going to go for being near a larger town/city, Concord is closer (despite what Google Maps says, seriously, Concord is closer by odometer)

These are snips from USGS after reporting this morning. It was felt/heard all the way into VT and MA.

Don't hear much about earthquakes in North America except on the West coast but they seem to happen everywhere.

that is close. Although there are tremors going on all the time in our area, we rarely feel anything never mind hear it.

Window seals! I bought a full truck kit 10-15 years ago, crud, I don't recall if there were new door seals in it or just windows only. I'll have to see how much improvement once I get it back and hopefully the door seals are new or ok. Also wing window hardware, new door window scissor crank things, radio installed and cleaned up someone's amateur wiring behind the dash (  ) so hopefully I can put the 15 amp fuse back instead of the 30 and it won't pop if use the horn or turn the A/C on while the radio is on  :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Hey there, the CAT fuel pump that you recommended for the Duramax is AWESOME! Thank you SO MUCH, have not been stranded in hot weather once since it was installed. Question, do you know if I need to order another CAT filter or can the dealership put one of theirs on it? (dash says change fuel filter).

Someday I hope get a ladder and respray the cap on the Blaze, the paint faded, I used spray on bedliner on it years ago and that lasted pretty well. How's your new pickup working out for you?

Window seals are good, especially in windy AF Wyoming. ;)

Your filter, hmm. Was the reminder reset at time of the install? If not, that could be why.

Love my truck, it's been great to me. Now I'm being great to it with only a 4 mile commute watch way to work by writing on my same town, just opposite ends of the town. No more 50 mile round trip work days. That and I've been riding the motorcycle to work.

Busy spending money and time making fencing to keep Hayden in our yard and neighbor dogs out. I have about 200' of of hog wire/ wood fence to make. With 2 gates, one for mower/ truck and trailer, and one up top for patio access for people.
