My well pump is getting a workout that's for sure. Even the weeds are struggling/drying up.

I didn't mow either yard this weekend. Even after getting 3/4" of rain the middle last week nothing grew except a few ambitious flowers of clover. Even the drainage ditch on the north side is just hanging out waiting. The driest spots in my "lawn" are going dormant.

Been trying to keep the squirrels out of the fruit trees with the air rifle, trying to learn Sketchup to draw my new carport/pavilion, and gardening. Did spot a couple that needed to come down in the lower end.

I work on some splitting sometimes but guessing that won't happen much this week. Expecting hot days. May even have to run the air conditioner.

Very boxy. I hope they don't use that warehouse looking siding on it. Several around here have gone for that look.

Heat wave on the way. Not much firewood/chainsaw action here.

We’re preparing for the heatwave too. Today we finally are getting some rain. It is kind of on and off and they forecasted thunderstorms, but none have shown up yet.

I hope you get some rain, we've had a good steady rain since 11:30 a.m.

Me too. It’s been really dry the past couple of weeks. All the grass I see has gone dormant already. Enjoy the steady rain, Zap.

Same up here, since we had rain in the forecast, I mowed the lawn shorted than I usually do and in the past couple of days it has grown a few inches.

Nothing wrong with weeds, for most of this summer we had more wildflowers than grass on certain areas of the lawn.

We always had a great lawn until the ole bear (Backwoods Savage ) visited last year, I'm surprised you have weeds left!
