Idk Dave, maybe we can get the base for the leveling feet off tonight, or ... crud, cut out a 12" x 24" wide strip in front? We'll look and make a plan after WWW gets home.

We've got some Wyoming level winds in my area, 29mph is probably light for Wyoming but here, goodlord
Maybe there'll be blow downs? Beech, oak and ash please!

 No fun when the sun isn't out and windchill hits.

Trees here seem to be anchored better and grow slower, so no blow downs but hope you get some :)

My town has a 6 ton load limit set ON EVERY EFFING ROAD except the two state roads (rt 9 and rt 149). That is from March 1 until further notice (most likely May 1, but could be May 15 or even later). I was able to get the road agent to grant me an exception to get wood pellets delivered about 2 weeks into March. HD had a sale I couldn't pass up and ordered 6 tons. But I'm the 2nd lot off a state road (about 200'), and he said he wasn't going to let me freeze from not having anything to feed my stoves. I did not correct his statement / assumption and didn't mention that I still had a couple of tons in the basement

It was a nice day in Southern Vermont. Got after that log load I’ve been nibbling on through the winter and cut up the last of it.

Ran a tank through the 362, the 261, and pulled the 250 out to mop up the last log.

Still will need split from the trailer to splitter to wood stack though.

Cleaned up the area with the tractor and threw some grass seed down. I got the “Don’t do that in the front yard again.” speech. That’s fine. I’d rather have it in log form near the stacks to cut, split, and stack a one log at a time.

Still got about a cord or two in a pile by the stack to work through. Then it’s back to scrounging/hoarding!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Celebrating it today (16th) though, can't celebrate on Good Friday with only 3 meals and no meat.

Thanks. Birthdays now are just a reminder that I'm old. Though it seems like at 55 I'm a youngster on this site
