Ours are very thorny and not too fun to pick.

I managed to get a walk in this morning. Not raining yet.

Plenty of worms out for the birds to gather.

Put another 4 hours in at the woodpile today, splitting and piling, didn't take the tablet out for tunes so no pics today. I'll get some tomorrow probably, I don't have cellphone service where I live so I don't carry around a camera in my pocket.

Between rain showers, I hired a neighbor Amish kid to clean my chimney today. He used his Dad’s brush and did it from the roof. I didn’t take a pic but I think about two quarts of dry flakey soot fell into the wood stove. 30 seconds with my ash vac and it was done. First time the chimney was cleaned in 3 burn seasons. I didn’t think the amount of soot was bad.

Those robins are going to have a tough time for food today. Almost all bare spots are white once again, thank you snow.

I made a call yesterday for a delivery of 60 tons of #53 white rock. Apparently the 2 big quarries are out of 53's and 8's (most common driveway rock sizes). This is stupid....how 2 places be completely out? 53's are the scraps from crushing other sizes of stones so they must not be running anything right now.

Sounds like it's going to be a couple weeks before I can get any.

Load limits are on the roads up here and have been for some time now. Sounds like you don't have that?

Anyway, wouldn't be able to get anything like that delivered here. Still waffling on a load of red oak logs for 1100. "11-12 cord most likely..."

I can't remember there ever being a load limit on paved roads (other than what is posted all year long). Gravel roads will go to 5 ton once in a great while during late winter or early spring.

I slept in this morning. That hasn't happened often here.

Wow. It is actually in the books here for March through May, but they never last that long.

They definitely weight limit, paved road here that is not federal or state. The edges get soft as frost comes out of ground

Dishwasher died. Never a good time. Thr night before last I was puzzled with puddling water infront of my coffee pot and wiped it up thinking it was kiddo. Next morning another puddle was back, and dripping on the dishwasher top buttons and apparently control panel below said buttons. Figured out it was the 2 gal bottled water dispense from the other side of the sink though it did not seem to be dripping when I checked it the night before. Unscrewed it and tried to pull it out hoping there was a GFCI behind it that was tripped. But. The laminate floor is laid in front of it and not enough clearance to get it over the lip. Sigh.
