    Ugh, picking up a uHaul car trailer and driving 4 hours to pick up my daughter and her car in Ithaca NY today. She says there’s a vibration that’s getting worse and doesn’t want to drive it home. Had her take it to a good friends uncles tire shop and he says could be a frozen brake caliper or a bent wheel. I just asked him to check the balance on the fronts :headbang:.

    Can’t be? It’s $55 to rent trailer plus gas I’ll run through truck. It’s 216 mi one way.

    My AAA covers 300 miles any car I am in OR reg/title in my name $119 year bunch of discounts to get that price
    You paying $55 trailer, food gas depreciation and 8 hours of your time etc

    Dad being hero AND getting 4+ hours with daughter in truck

    The way she describes it, sounds like a wheel out of balance. I had her go somewhere I thought I could trust, they see a 19 year old college kid and came up with who knows what. I work on our stuff, so I'll just bring it back here and have a look. I have access to a wheel balancer so that's the first thing I'll check. She said she didn't think it should be driven home, but yes, she was planning on coming home this weekend anyway.

    Ha! Except it's a real bill Dave! I'll attach a pic in a few minutes. I called Sully County and told them and she had the nerve to question me 3 different ways if I "really" didn't know this loser. Idk, maybe he stayed here prior to 2011 at one time. My road is not a common name like Main Street.

    Nice, just connected our laptop to the TV via HDMI cords, laptop screen showed on the tv!! I signed up for a seminar for kiddo and I for Fri/Sat night, this way all of us can see and hear it on the TV (pellet furnace is very loud in the living room not to mention both of us tied down to the small screen not to mention WWW coming or going or staying to watch. :thumbs:
