Yes. Horsey litter. And sometimes used for chickens.

Next week looks to be more of the same. Rain all next week supposedly. This weekend it will be about 40, and no rain at least.

It's really mucky out there. We had Hayden at the dog park after work and the areas that were not hard pack gravel walkways were not mud, but definitely not solid either. It was weird. Hayden had a good time. That's all that matters.

I believe the rain we have had over the last few days has gone a long way to drawing the frost out of the ground. Shouldn't take too long for conditions to be good for getting in the woods once it stops raining.

Same boat here in southern PA. Full blown mud season. While I'll be able to get in the woods to cut and bring home more, S/S'ing will have to wait. Our neighborhood will take several weeks w/ little to no rain to firm up the ground. :(

Yeah, the roads are breaking up bad here now. Truck traffic on county roads will be very light for a while.

All my roads were posted March 1st and that is until further notice - usually around May 1. HD delivery trucks are overweight - I can't imagine how much heavier concrete trucks are. Did get the road agent to approve a delivery of pellets from HD a couple of weeks ago so was able to take advantage of the sale. If I wasn't the 2nd lot down from a state road, as well as not on dirt, it might have gone the other way.

I'm with ya brother. After the week of 50's-60's and now this!?!? I have little desire to do anything in the garage or outside currently.

So, we saw this complete badazzery at the Blaine's farm and fleet store yesterday. Appears he's one of the mechanics there based on where he was parked. I like his sense of humor. Go ahead, take it all in for any future hot rod build plans.

Right? It was supposed to be 40° and sunny this weekend. It's barely going to get above freezing today and into the teens tonight. Well there goes my plans of digging up the last ash tree's stump grindings and putting in the top soil. Hard to do that when the ground is frozen.

I've got other things to do outside as well, but I was hoping for a little nicer weather than we are going to have.

Layer of snow here. 1/2" maybe. Wind cuts like a square ground full chisel on Kevin ported 500i. I'm over it. I might even throw a tantrum. Probably hurt maseff rolling around kicking and screaming so I'll probably just complain here. Lol

Brings to mind this classic response (whether it fits or not!)

But really, I feel the same way about this darn wind.

All this moaning and groaning about the weather! Pffftttt!

    It happens every year.

The lows here for the next 3 nights will be in single digits. May even dip below zero for two of those nights.

The important thing is that whatever we get now is short lived. :handshake:

Three months from now the only fires we'll be having will be at the fire pit. :fire: :MM: :campfire:

We have spring flowers popping up. Tomorrow night and Monday night are freeze warnings so I guess we’ll be covering them so they don’t croak. 2 loads of mulch in the pool flower bed covered those, so a couple 5gal buckets will help the rest.
