The CAT is taking in some deep breathing again. Completed some electrical connection cleaning and repair and she started right up fine.
Currently moving some branches and brush away from several good size Pine trees so I can burn it up sometime soon.

Wife and I went car shopping. I played along because she always does the same thing. Thats too much money I am not paying that for a car, she will not have a payment. So we went to several dealers Toyota, Hyundai, Kia all wanted 5k over MSRP. She walked out of everyone. We are a MOPAR family so the ext day went to Dodge dealer where we usually buy. Only reason we didn't start there was she wanted a mid size SUV.

So we go in and there is a Durango R/T blacktop edition in Destroyer Grey, she says she likes it and tells the salesman how much? Dennis the sales manager we have always dealt with say 3k under MSRP. She says write it up, now she is prepared to write a check. Dennis comes back and says 72 months same as cash. Now she says 50% down and finance the rest at 0%.

This is where it gets interesting. We are sitting there and they have a Challenger Scat Pack wide body in Smoke Show Grey. Dennis brings out the paper work for the Durango and she says, same deal on the Challenger ? Dennis says yes. She says write it up same terms, I will pick them both up tomorrow.

Before we had started looking she had asked we just sold the last rehab, we don't need anymore retirement money, you are not going to buy another house right now, lets spend it and have some fun. I said sure why not. Boy did she call my bluff.

I have to say that was the best weekend of football games I’ve seen in a long time. All were close and exciting. The last game last night was unbelievable, entertaining, and the best football duel I’ve seen in a long while. Although I wanted the Bills to win, both teams played great and Mahomes deserves it too. I don’t spend much time watching sports, but when it gets down to the win or your out time they get really fun. After the Super Bowl comes March Madness college basketball, which is fun to watch as well. You win or your done.

We were saying the same thing last night. Normally, I don't watch much football but this weekend sure was different!

 

Posting a day late. This was my Sunday. Started out heading to the gas station. Once I was fueled up my truck wouldn't start. Bloat all the CCA in my battery. Good voltage, no amps. Got a jump start from a guy one bay over. Get to Walmart and their app says no batteries in stock for my truck. Leave the truck running, locked, and go in to find 6 freshly restocked batteries and no one in 8 service bays in automotive. Buy a new one and got it swapped out in 20 minutes.

Drive to my free oak and setup to cut. 3rd pull to start the old 036 and ...



The side pulls apart. 25+ year old gas soaked plastic that may have been dropped by the previous owner gave up the ghost. And I think the tensioner is fouled up to. Cannot quit get chain tight.

Borrowed land owners 250 and got everything pretty much cut and loaded.

Had to leave 6 pieces 18" diameter and 2 crotch pieces that may just go down the mountain.
