Well the wind is up and down so far today. To cold if it is blowing. No wood cutting yet. Not too bad if it is not blowing. Maybe this afternoon if wind dies for a while. So far I have brought in some wood, paid a couple bills, done some laundry, visited with my parents. And now going back there for lunch soon. Mom maid some home made beef barley soup. Good day for soup.:shiver:

Stinny, we have a lopi endeavor at out cottage up north. We've had it over 10 years. Our is just like that one as well, same no frills black door. The only issue we've had with it was the door gasket failed once, and the fan got loud, but that was fixed by cleaning it.
I've always been impressed with it, especially overnight burns during snowmobile season with simply pine.

Yeah, I knew a 20" piece wouldn't fit. Sometimes I need to fire up the old Mac to shorten pieces.

A chiropractor may be able to give you some short term relief if the doctor isn't available. I'm not saying their are (or aren't) the best option, but they are an option.

Going in strapped may be the shortest path to the back of the line, unfortunately.

No line today...it's his normal nursing home visiting day. He came in just for me.

    In waiting room now...alone.

My accessory was more for the rude nurse who seemed upset that a patient needs immediate assistance.

The doc knows I only come in when there's real trouble.

I think it's a muscle pull. Do chiropractors help muscles?

There's not a lot anyone can do for a pulled muscle in your back, other than tell you to get horizontal and rest. Some naproxen will take the edge off.

A steroid can help with swelling/inflammation.

Hopefully you didnt throw your back out. My husband ends up horizontal for a couple days (or more) when he throws his back out, couch and bed & Ibuprophen. If you did, it will heal eventually:) The only time I have ever seen him on the floor was throwing his back out, hard to witness.

Bocefus, a chiropractor can't help with a pulled muscle. Doctors can't do much either, except write you a scrip....

Unfortunately rest is the best for this problem.

Doc gave me soma and celebrex.

I just changed insurance companies and new info doesn't jive with the pharmacy. Card hasn't been mailed yet so I'm on call 5 to my agent now.

I'm about to just pay the 251$ cash and tell them to go pound sand.

Then go strangle my agent and promptly cancel. Edit...not really agents fault...it's the company. United Healthcare.

Grrrrrr. Fuggin mad! And in pain. :hair:

I can see that our stove will calm down now, with all things 100%... and that's what I was spooked about. The gasket seal definately is the weakest link, short of ripping off the intake door from slamming it shut too hard... which I doubt can happen. Thx for your thoughts. Looks as tho everyone else feels the same.

Looking like -15 below plus 25mph winds. Planning on taking a walk later to test myself.

I never said I was very smart. :)
