    Sold two pieces of equipment recently. 1979 Deere 300B and my Kubota 3540 HSTC cab tractor. Then I bought an older model 1991 CAT 426 for some specific work I need to do. The value of that is less than half of the two I sold combined. That was THE main objective. Reduce debt.

    I also sold my nice older 3/4 ton crew cab Chevy 2500HD I had and bought an older model 2008 Honda Ridgeline. Only had 63,000 miles on it. That was $7,000 less than the Chevy. Trying to still get work done but also get financially better prepared to retire about 7-8 years from now.

    Must still be under construction? Electric meter is on temporary pole next to house; windows still have stickers on them; it has no chimney for wood stove!!

    brand spanking.
    Might never have a wood stove. Would definitely have been better to Install a chimney before the shingles, if one was needed.

    I'd have gone with brown shingles to go with the stained wood finish, if it were me. But I nit pick.

    That looks so nice that now you are going to need to finish that wall and cover the concrete. Don't even get me started on those stairs. Why yes, I am more than happy to spend other people's time and money by thinking up projects for them ;)

    I am up also, odd for me, but nothing was going to happen with sleep so I am up for a while. I'll try to go back to bed later on. Pellet stove is cranking out the heat. I think the thermometer reads zero. Now Cindy is up! I didn't wake her. Maybe it is the moon.

    Still above zero at 5* here. Sorry your and Cindy's sleep is disturbed. I'll probably need to take a nap before I start work at 6. 15-20 minutes usually does a good job of refreshing me when I need it.
