You and Firewood Bandit and my relatives in Tomah/ Sparta were ones I was thinking of that probably did get snow.

We're getting some lake effect, but it's not quite from that system

Icy cold high winds outside now. Wind just howling Took the dog out twice since it got dark out. He was only interested in being out long enough to take care of his business. I stay right with him all the time is he out. I still have no idea how the wild animals survive these conditions.

And to think I had a veterinarian tell me a dogs fur, my airdale terrier, didn't keep him warm. That dog absolutely loved the snow and would roll in it, drop his front down and push himself like a V plow through it with his back legs ect. It was fun to watch. Best dog I ever had.

The propane guy (Ron), stopped by and topped off my neighbors and my tank today. Ron's a great guy, but it can be a little awkward this time of year. My neighbor's tank took 50 gallons, and I only took 32 gallons, and Ron asked what we're doing to save propane. My neighbor told him he got a new efficient furnace, I didn't need to reply since he already knows what I'm doing. He's seen my stacks of wood, and asked me before if I'm trying to put him out of business. He likes to give me a hard time. LOL

    Lol.

Only a couple, like 3 or 4, years ago I could get a haircut for 10 bucks on Tuesdays. Then it went to 12 dollar Tuesdays. Now those days are gone. Same place is 18 dollars now.

    Yep, I'm needing a haircut.

There's a barber near us, that charged $6.00, then upped it to $7.00 about 5 years ago and apologized profusely, saying it had been 15 years since he increased the price. LOL He has a very dry personality, not sure what he's thinking until he say's something. A neighbors wife went with him to get a cut one day, he asked the barber if he does women's hair, he said "no, but I'll shave their legs".

Mine would jump head first into deep snow and sniff around under it looking for rodents. It was hysterical to watch.
