Argh, that looks horrible. I am so glad all my retinal tears have healed themselves. I did have a couple in my left eye where my eye doctor talked about sending me to a specialist, but after a couple of weeks, they were better. My biggest issue was the detritus left in my visual field where at times up to half my vision would be gone in that eye. Most of that has faded or been reabsorbed that it is no longer really an issue. Got another tear in my right eye a couple of days ago - love those lightning flashes that tell me it happened. But, once again it's not bad so should take care of itself.

Definitely - it was like getting a raise not buying all that gas. And, since I'm not a really sociable person anyway, I don't miss being in the office.

My condolences on your loss. It is hard for our minds to wrap around not seeing/hearing/touching our furry friends after they leave us.

Most definitely. Maybe more depending on the family member.

CAT 426 all warmed up. Going to go out and move some dirt this morning. See how the backhoe does now with the hydraulic line repaired.

All you hoarders have some fun today. And…….

I don't think we have a member close to this. It would be a long haul to take a splitter and I have no way to haul one. Also I can no longer split by hand.

How do you get tears? There are several causes, but mine is probably due to severe nearsightedness combined with my age. It may not help that my eyes aren't the healthiest around with Keratoconus, 2 different types of cataracts in the left eye (only 1 in the right), plus high pressure that suddenly appeared about 8 years or so ago.

Eh, I've never had good eyesight, and can't even remember a time that they could actually correct my vision to 202/20. I'm used to the weird way I see (or don't) and thought much of it was normal until I tried to get laser surgery for the nearsightedness, and they found the keratoconus. Sure, my eyes have issues, but they still do enough of the job to get me thru life. I'm not using a cane or dog to get around, haven't had to have cornea surgery or replacement, and none of the conditions cause pain, so I'm good with what I have.

Hoping hoping hoping the clothes washer is functional again. I've worked on it trouble shooting/process of elimination for like a week now, and every step is atleast a 1/2 hour inbetween to drain the full tub through a little tiny tube. And having to wait for husband to be home to open the jammed window for draining troubleshooting etc. So, nothing was clogged, or kinked, all systems go and the error code is gone. Fingers crossed!! Running a self clean cycle and praying it's computer board brain is unscrambled from throwing false error codes.

Wow, you remember a few things.

Im doing good, recently changed jobs due to a few wild avoidable incidents. Pretty much changed my career path because of it all.

Wife is good, also recently had some crappy work related stuff happen but shes doing well.

Our oldest boy is doing great, he just turned 3 in October. See how i said oldest? He has a brother now! And he just turned 1 in November.

Dad is doing great. We all still live within the same neighborhood, so we are close.
Ive been shoppin for some property though here lately.
