Had a nice quiet evening here tonight. Wife and kids we all gone doing stuff. I got the bow out and shot for an hour or so. That thing is a mental washing machine. Full, and I mean full concentration for 2 arrows then take a 120 yard walk. Rinse and repeat.

I haven't shot much the past couple years but starting to get back in the groove.

Pretty sure I can put a hole in a deer inside of 30 yards. Last 2 shots of the night at 20 we're right in the boiler room.

A friend of mine wrote this, this morning.

Are You there, God? Can You still hear me?
It's getting kinda dark down here and sometimes feels scary.
Are You there, God? I know that You can hear.
You promised that You'd never leave and always would be near.
Are You there, God? You see, my heart is broke.
It's hard to be awake in a world that's become so woke.
Are You there, God! Cause people just don't seem to care.
They're too busy with life's problems, all rushing here and there.
Are You there, God, cause sometimes I just don't know.
I desperately need to hear from You, I want to be so close.
Are You there God? Cause we're still down here.
Waiting now with baited breath for the day that You appear.
You said these days would come to earth,
You said men's heart would fail.
You said brothers would turn on brothers,
That parents and kids would bail.
You warned us that the day would come,
    When serving You was hard.
You said that unless You stopped it all,
Even elite hearts would be shards.
Are You still there, God? Cause we're broken and confused.
They're pushing us to trust in man,
And forget our bond with You.
Are You there, God, cause I'm still in need of You.
I still trust in Your power and believe Your word is true.
So I know You're still there, God. And You hold us in Your hands.
While they push, and shove agendas that are not part of Your plan.
So I'm still here, God, clinging desperately to You.
I refuse to bow to fear or hate, even if we're just a few.
Are You there, God? And You answer,
"Yes, My child...don't fear the darkness anymore, it will be just but a while."

(Some have asked if I wrote this.. yes. It poured out of me this morning and I sobbed like a child on my front porch. ~Angela Kaye Carpenter~)

I have found both answers to that question.

Last month, I called the state myself to find out and got this paraphrased answer.

You certainly can. It has to be titled (still waiting for my certificate of origin, BTW) and it has to be insured of course. I did speak with a live person and tried explaining just what a mini truck is and finally asked her "do you even know what a mini truck is; sometimes they're called Kei trucks?" She answered "No, I don't know"
........"so then you don't really know if they can be licensed or not, right?" :headbang:

Where I live now, I am allowed to use the highway (non state/federal roadway) to get to trails or destination legally. I slapped an ORV sticker on it to keep the governor happy and I am sure it is viewed exactly as an UTV. Michigan doesn't have the same restrictions for UTV definitions as Wisconsin. I don't think the mini truck is viewed as an UTV in Wisconsin.

Not so sure if I want to pay over $250 every 6 months for insurance plus license fees annually just to get to town a little quicker for gasoline. If so, I'd probably be switching tires from off-road to highway constantly!

I could have taken a pic of the vehicles parked in the lean to to give it a better size perspective, I guess.

I do have to be careful walking along the low side of the lean to as I could "ka-bong" my head along the way, but why would I walk that close to the lower side in the first place?

I had them built at 12' wide. That way, once I park a vehicle in it, I will have enough room to open the door and exit the vehicle. I could have had the height built higher but would have had to give up the 12' width. No thanks, as I have had a 9' wide lean to once and it just wasn't enough. The garage is 10' interior if that helps your perspective.

Am I a mini? :rofl: :rofl:  Heck no! I haven't been south of 215 lbs in over two decades now! Just under 6'. You must be tall, I take it?

As far as fitting into the mini truck, I wouldn't recommend any 6 footer to get one. Kinda like a jeep wrangler, but worse. If I was less heavy, it would be better. The longest drive I've had in it was 1hr 15min and yeah, between the thin seats and cramped leg room, I hope to never go over that time again!

I have been doing this new thing where I turn my phone off at 6/7 pm. The last 3 days I have gone to bed around 9 and I have been feeling better and well rested. If I keep doing this I might even have enough time and energy to do one of the hobbies that I never seem to have enough time and energy for.
