    Beer, PBS and Gershwin.

(Kids are playing their instruments in band at school now. So they are learning Piano and now one is on trumpet and the other is on French Horn. They are very interested in this.)

Step Brothers is one of my favorite comedies. I've probably seen it a dozen times.

I'm not generally a Will F fan, more of a select few (of his movies) fan. Elf just happens to be one of them.

No drinking too much here anymore! I have been thinking about this and started last night. I have several New Years resolutions and the first and most important one is a two drink limit. I have too much to do and enjoy to be overdoing it with alcohol. And I think that one or two beers will happen once, maybe twice a week. I may even eventually jump on the wagon with you guys! o_O I noticed I was starting to drink more than normal. Time to cut back.

I need to get my butt going. Having some caffeine to help that along. Not hungry this morning. Ate enough last night with kids to last till lunch today. Stayed up to 12:15. Even the wee one made it till then. We were surprised. She got a second wind about 10:30 and played cards with her older brother and sister. We all toasted with sparkling grape juice in wine glasses at midnight and watched the action on the TV. We all had fun staying up. Now I need to get my butt moving out to the woods! Amish visitor coming at 10am to be a potential log buyer in the future. He is a younger man who is living on someone else's farm right now but is looking to buy his own piece of land and will need logs for building his structures. We will see.

    Happy new year guys!

I hope you all had a nice evening. the stove decided to cooperate and on a huge load of locust and maple it cruised nicely at 1400 cat temp from when I loaded it at 8pm till well past I fell asleep at 1am :D (loading it hot actually helps I think). Keeping the LR at 72f with 13F outside... priceless :)

Enjoyed a nice dinner at home, played with the kids, had some beers and watched a movie (Zero Dark Thirty) with the wife and her family who are visiting. actually me and the SIL are the only ones who stayed awake till 12.

Kids woke me up at 7, gong to fuel up with coffee and the big breakfast the mrs is cooking, then its off to the r/c airfield for our annual freeze your fingers new years day funfly.

Finish the day watching the twilight Zone marathon on SciFi :)
