It has been a real busy weekend. Yesterday we went to my Granddaughter's wedding in Whitefield NH in a place called Faraway Pond. Very near Well Seasoned home. Then this morning we rushed back home. My sister in-law passed away. That ended her long battle with Alzheimer's disease. My poor brother in-law was so limited on how much he could visit because of Covid restrictions. Only when she was declared near death did they unrestrict him. The leaves had turned and it would have been a beautiful ride over and back had it not been for the rain on both days. Instead the mountains looked like they were covered with puffy clouds. In an hour, I get to go pick up my dog from the kennel. We had to have him boarded while we were away.
In his stomach, wondering if he may also have one in his brain (that being completely a conjecture on our part, but it would explain some of his behavior). I don't know exactly, maybe his age or....I really don't know. So..... grandmother is taken off life support, loaded with painkillers, and......waiting.
I am very sorry about your sister in law passing... Alzheimers is a very hard for loved ones to deal with. Prayers for your family.
Thirsty ole beasts...too bad its not a 350...I don't like the IFS suspension when carrying a plow around...
Its a 5 speed, so that might buy you a small side trip or two in there somewhere...certainly more so than a C6 auto!
it says 460 and 4x4. My fathers was a 2x4, but all hooked up and ready to go-and WWW can do minor repairs on that year unlike our newer pickups
True...but more of a job than most are willing to undertake...my nephew did it on his '92, complete with moving the shackles to the rear and installing the newer Superduty style spring pack...pretty big job...rides better though!
Idk, I could reach the pedals in his manual 89' just fine Heck, I had a welder bend the clutch on the Blaze up so I could drive better-engage the clutch without slipping below the point of view below the dashboard
It doesn't really matter on those old big block V8s...they seem to get about 8-9 MPG no matter what...truck to truck it will vary a little, but not much!
Yes, mileage sucks but it is what it is. I recall filling both tanks for camping trips with a pop up camper on the back. MAN, such good times and memories. No camper but I have a grip on how to drive a truck like that and if we keep it well maintained we can plow ourselves out instead at the mercy of older neighbors. We'll plow out the road for them too
