The delivered calf is a Holstein bull. Jersey cross don't know. Momma didn't want me there so I left her alone.

Thinking Emma has the right idea and might do some splitting or jump in the tractor and deal with a big hanging limb? or just sit in the house by the fire and have a few cold ones? :hair:

Either way, the cold ones will follow. Only a little bit of light left, maybe just the cold ones and try again

Kids are all excited about tonight. They really enjoyed staying up with Mom and Dad last year. The wee one fell asleep by 10 but the twins managed to make it for the ball drop and fireworks on the tube. Had fun. So we are doing it again this year. Got invited to several parties but would much rather stay home with the kids and do our thing. Their mother took them all out grocery shopping yesterday to buy all the finger foods we are going to snack on throughout the night. A different item every hour or so. Gasifier is going to gain a few pounds tonight. I am going to put the FHC beer glasses in the freezer right now for frosted cold beers later.

The only way anyone will see a ball drop at this house is if I pick up a really big round. :faint:   :bug::bug: :picard: :BrianK:
