    Stacked a couple face cord of firewood this morning. Getting up there with the 21-22 season BTU count now. Then I spent too much time on my arse today. Mowing grass with the Simplicity Broadmoor and the Kubota L3540. But it was a good day for it. Beautiful weather here. Then showered and went to our two daughters soccer game. This year they are on the same varsity team together. One is a senior and the other a freshman. They won the first game of the early season tournament. See what happens tomorrow night.

    Split up and stacked a couple face cord myself this morning. This evening, I burned some brush that I took down last week. Knocked that brush pile down by about 1/3 or so.

    If it is a fairly large pile, I would bet bear. The local bear's piles don't stink and look like mud or dirt. first time I saw a pile in my back yard I was wondering where a big pile of dirt came from. I can tell it is bear because it is usually loaded with bird seed or berries.

    Guess it could be mole tunnel as others have said, but usually (in my experience anyway), you can tell there is a tunnel becuase it raises the roof. Although in your case, there may be too much grass and such to see it so you wouldn't notice until you step on it and it and it feels spongy.

    Guess you need to dig into it and see if it leads somewhere.

    Have some work to do on tractor today. Change oil in atv and generator. Need to clean gutters. Lots need done around here as I've just not got much done this year. Now the weather is decent I need to get ready for fall.

    Sorry, but I need to vent!!!!
    I experienced the WORST customer service today at a local store. I don't want to mention the name of the store because I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this. Last night I bought something from this store and I paid cash for it. I took it home and found out it didn't work. So today, less than 24 hours later I took it back to the same store and asked if I could get a refund. The cashier told me “NO” even though I still had the receipt. I asked if I could get a replacement instead, again she told me "NO." I asked to talk to a manager now as I'm really not happy and I explained that I had just bought the item, had got it home and it didn't work. The manager just smiled and told me to straight to my face that I was "OUT OF LUCK."
    No refund.
    No FREE replacement. Grrrrrrrrr.
    I''ll tell you what...I am NEVER buying another Lottery Ticket from there again!
