Probably not used much around the womens...at least not by polite company!

 

Commonly used to describe certain people in this area by us non elites. It was funny to see it though, just a term that has been replaced with others lately I guess.

 

73 lbs since March! That is fantastic. I was proud of myself for losing 35 lbs since March. I'm 74 years old and have very limited mobility so exercise is limited. Like you, I cut the carbs, but also portions of all food. Even skip meals if I am not hungry. I would imagine that you have new clothes. Suggestion, get rid of the big size clothing. You'll have more incentive to keep the weight off. Have you reached your goal?

 

My remedy..........the keto diet. I have lost 73 and the bride has lost 40. I too have limited mobility. We have stuck to the diet religiously and it has paid big dividends. I never smoked or drank, but excess eating of the wrong foods was my downfall. I am now commited to the keto style of diet and do not intend to slip back into bad habits.

 

The wife met some town folk today at one of the kids sporting events. When she was telling them where we live they said “the house with all the firewood?”

Watching the Little League World Series finals. Michigan vs. Ohio. Excellent game so far. Michigan just scored 3 runs leading 3-0

I get it though...I recently gave up and sold a long term undone project...fortunately didn't lose my arse on it.

 

be careful with that keto only mentality. I did it over a year, lost ~30lbs. I was religious during the week about keto, staying under 50g of carbs a day. Weekends I would cheat and have beer etc and in a year I lost that chunk of weight. A literally straight keto diet ( and pretty much any "diet") isn't something that can be sustainable long term.

I don't abide by the keto diet anymore, haven't for a good year or so and I keep my weight about 20 lbs off from where I started when I went to keto. So fir me to keep 2/3 of that weight off and eat whatever I want is 100% acceptable to me. I like beer, bread, and pasta. I could lose another 5lbs or so if I gave those up, but I'm happy where I'm at, not working out aside from firewood work and other work that involves some physical activity.

 

I will reach out to Scotty Overkill if we go ahead with it. fishingpol made one at one point too, IIRC.
