Sounds like this week we'll get a reprieve from the humidity and heat.

    That looks great Warner !

My house is the same color combo, at least on the back and sides. In front it's a brown vinyl cedar shake style.

I need to stop a similar style step deck like yours as there's 1 concrete step and then a taller step into the sliding patio door. If I do like what you have, I can make the steps less steep and have places to put more plants and flowers.

On Friday, my wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. Took the day off and went bar hopping in Elkhart Lake, then to our favorite pizza/ Italian place in the state, Il Ritrovo in Sheboygan. They have a great wood fired oven that they make awesome pizza, bread, and other dishes in.

So now my wife wants me to build a wood oven for the patio.... But I'll wait as bread is her weakness and she's lost a lot of weight by walking 25 miles a week, every week. She does 10k-20k steps a day according to her Fitbit. So I think she'll back off that wood oven request.

Yeah fresh bread is awesome, but it will quickly info all that work...

I bet concocting a homemade breaded starter and actually making real bread wouldn’t be so bad since sugar and fillers aren’t part of the recipe as opposed to buying some store bought crap that you just throw in the oven...

A coworker of mine put together a starter over a year ago and still keeps it going. The bread he bakes is out of this world.
Maybe one day The Mullet will chime in and tell us about it...

Oh yeah, congrats Horkn and Mrs Horkn

My wife isn't a baker, but she has home made Pizza crust and Indian naan bread recipes down. Bread just has a lot of carbs. No way to get around that, regardless of if you use whole grains etc.

Ahhhh...........I sure do miss the sour dough bread and my wife's homemade pizza. Have lost 73 lbs. since March 1st and carbs and sugar are a key ingredient to allowing that NOT to happen.

P.S. Happy Anniversary to the Horkn's.
