    It seems like the wind shifted around from the northwest, and the humidity feels like it is dropping. Maybe some outside work will get done this weekend.

    More attic drywall mudding to be done though.

    Definitely a nice day here, high of about 74°F with low humidity, and a light breeze.
    :thumbs::thumbs:

    Did a bunch of mowing, and a touch of weed-wacking.

    Also.. Got a Ryobi mosquito fogger delivered today.
    :thumbs::thumbs:

    Has helped a lot around the front yard, more acreage to cover though.

    Told Chazsbetterhalf I need one on each side of the ATV and just drive.

    Yeah, that reduction in humidity late afternoon was very welcome. When I made the trek to the big city for some shopping, at about 2, it was 93* with the humidity in the high 70's. When I left Wally World to head for home, the cold front was moving thru and it was very windy. B y the time I got home about 4, the temp had dropped to 86* humidity was in the mid 60's. By 5pm it was 83* and the humidity was 51%. There was also a light breeze which helped too. Perfect for mowing my lawn. I turned off the A/C and opened the windows when the outside temp got to 74* as the humidity was lower outside than inside.

    Today supposed to stay in the 70's and the humidity will stay low, so it will be a nice day to mow the neighbor's lawn.

    Home again. It kept getting cooler and less humid as I drove west yesterday but I did hit one pocket of warmer air as I went through Toledo when it hit 80 but by the time I was in MI it was 76 and kept falling from there. As I drove through town it was 73, I think. As I carried my suitcase in the house I glanced at the thermometer and it was 68. A bit over an hour later it was 62. Felt great!!!

    Hopefully some of the cooler, drier air you guys are getting will push east soon. We're stuck in the tropics here in the NE. I've sweated through at least 2-3 shirts a day this past week lol

    Yeah as of Thursday night it's been really really nice here, after so many days of high humidity and 90°. Last night we were at a friend's house for a bday party and I only had shorts and a t shirt with sandals. It was borderline weather to put on a pullover or some sort of long sleeve shirt.

    They had the inflatable pool up, but should've had the fire pit going instead.:doh:

    Visiting the Finger Lakes region for a few days. We’re moving our daughter into her college dorm Monday (Ithaca College). Walked the Watkins Glen gorge trail yesterday afternoon.

    Got the soffit all done on the front peak of the garage. That looks so much better. The back will be a little easier, and the sides easier again.

    also did my bedroom ceiling in Solid soffit. I only use vented soffit AS soffit, had a bunch of solid kicking around. Sure beats dealing with gyprock and won't damage super easily like tiles.

    Norfork-Southern had a big derailment in a small town about 15 miles from our home, this morning about 1AM. Nobody was hurt, just has the road and railway blocked... Glad it was just a freight train...
    Had 1 a couple yrs ago, time schedule was off, a short line train and that train collided. I think a few on the workers were hurt on that one.

    Went and picked up a childhood friend of my beautiful bride, at airport, she’s staying for a week. MIL & SIL coming in from Canada and Maine respectively. I see some splitter time, garage time etc in my future this week!

    One time, I literally had a package that was used as a wheel chock for a ups truck.
