I should be cutting some far'wood this morning but waiting to hear from Hippie Bob,,something about a riding mower and some lumber he needs help with,,
A fire in the garage stove and some saw cleaning should be in order but I'm a sucker for firewood/chainsaw web sites,,

I am sure you will find plenty to do rottiman. You will probably have to pace yourself so you don't end up busier than you are now. LOL Always something to do, and not enough time in the day. Now you just have to be sure to make time to relax.

Last day of 3 to 11 off for 2 and back in to start the new year on day work. Work trouble until Monday. Then it's 6 more weeks of training. Lord help me. I can't take 2 days of training let alone 6 more weeks of it.

Got the new subfloor installed in the kitchen over the weekend. Ordering tile after work today.

Now I just need to figure out how to get the old subfloor out of the dining room so I can replace it with a layer of 3/8" to match the living room and make the elevation correct to match the kitchen once all of the new flooring is installed. I think I'm going to have to break down and buy a toe kick saw so I can be up close to the walls and cabinets.

I bought one of those oscillating saws. With the offset blade it works well getting close to stuff. Plus the rigid brand has interchangeable heads to make it other tool.

I thought about one of those, but wasn't sure if it would be up to the task of cutting through almost 40' of 1/2" plywood.

For what they are they cut well. I bought it cause of the fact I can do other stuff with it. I still have to do around my cabinets but it cut through 2 layers of hard plater with metal lathe with ease and cut the laminate flooring I installed.

I finished cutting up that Ash this afternoon. And I brought about half of it back to the pile at the processing area. Good working weather. About 25 and sun.

my dad bought a rockwell one. I've used it for many projects already. It's pretty handy. While I've not used it for the purpose that is being talked about in this thread, I have no doubt that it will work well for that. I plan on putting in laminate flooring in the hallway to replace the linoleum that was under the carpeting that has already been pulled. I probably will be needing it for clearancing the trim.

Ended up buying a Rockwell after work. A little more than I wanted to spend but I'm done buying cheap tools.
