Not yet. I'm on Netflix hiatus at the moment. Watching Hulu content now.

Now, I should recommend "the punisher" while you are watching Netflix. Gooder stuff

Val Kilmer's character (Doc Holiday) is my favorite, "I'll be your Huckleberry."

After replying, I saw someone mentioned Open Range. That is a good one too.

I have watched both of those several times and they never get old.

I agree with you regarding black bear. I've come across countless bears in the woods (including sows with cubs) and never had an issue. I've even had them climb the same tree I'm in (in a tree stand during hunting season) and not had an issue. If a person uses common sense and respects the animal for what it is, there should not be an issue. If, on the other hand, a person is an idiot and tries to treat the bear like it's some kind of cute, cuddly pet...well, Mother Nature needs to clean out the gene pool somehow. I don't know if it is TV that is the culprit though. I mean we grew up with Gentle Ben and Grizzly Adams and I never once thought it was smart to walk up to a 200-700 pound wild animal and rub elbows. I think our society has just devolved into a general lack of common sense. That's one reason I either run people off my property when they are trying to get up close and personal with a moose (or bear) or I try to push the animal farther into the woods. Other than the obvious trespassing issue, there are those entitled and ignorant people that would walk up to a wild animal and then try to sue the landowner once said animal attacks them. Granted, under most circumstances the landowner would be covered by the general rule of animals ferae naturae, where the legal concept prevents property owners from being held liable for animal attacks that occur on their land, however it would still be a hassle to have to go to court over such an event.

Brown and polar bear are something altogether different and those need to be treated with a much different set of rules than black bear.

I don't believe the Grizzly Adam's show ever had a disclaimer how dangerous bears are.

Common sense was more common back then...

Absolutely. It was just accepted back then that we had the common sense to know that it was a TV show and not to try this at home. Sad that we have to have the "caution: coffee may be hot" label on everything nowadays because so many people have lost the ability to think rationally.

That whole concept is perpetuated by "IDIOT" lawyers trying to fleece the masses by telling them how much they are "entitled" to for their stupidity..

WWW's headed to the armpit today. Too bad I did not think to send his inhaler with him. Pollution is really bad down there and I heard the west coast wildfire smoke is there too now.

I came across this pile in my driveway today. It looks like there are wild black cherry seeds in it. Could it be bear scat? It was only 12 feet from the garage door. DSC03721.JPG

I would guess it to be 4 inches across. I am sure it dried out a bit today. It does not look like coon scat.

Been a couple sucky days at work. Too much time on the phone herding cats to do their jobs. Was on 5 hours last night and 7 hours today on the same problem....still going as I type this.

Lots of yard work and gardening tomorrow.
