We got just a little shower the night before then another decent shower yesterday afternoon. That should help get our field radishes up. They are coming up a bit spotty so far but fortunately as of mid afternoon yesterday the turkeys had not been scratching the seed up.
Thursday morning I woke up with a 2011 HD Street Glide, 2014 Ford Explorer, and a 2018 Ford Focus. By 5pm yesterday afternoon, none of those are mine.
No, no bikes for me with my vision issues. Driving 4 wheeled vehicles scan get scary enough at times. Only rode the bike once since November of 2019, and that was for a totoal of about 14 miles.
I sold my HD back in 04 ( I think). Anyway, I finally got rid of my leathers and T-shirts this summer. It took awhile
I miss all the good stuff....And if I was the cause of the fiestyness, I blame it on the Blue Smoothies!!
Yesterday we were up early to get some materials for the wood bin. We worked a good part of the day getting it boxed in. The ground is very soft and had to add more PT legs. It will hold 9 bundles. We will use a few bins for smoker wood and cooking planks and see how that goes. Built mostly from leftover lumber from projects around here. I can get some salvaged plywood for the back and make a board and batten look. The front may get vertical shiplap doors. Our son is getting ready to get this up and running. We also need to make a few weatherproof signs. I let him do a lot of the cutting and fastening. The old radial arm saw was a big help. I wheeled it over to the work area, less walking.
Got a ring doorbell alert this AM. Someone had a porch thieve. Video shows a young man in hoddie picking up the package and leaving. Owner posted it on the ring neighbor web site. Everyone subscriber with a ring doorbell in town will get the video. We have a small town of 2700, basically burb of Augusta.
Many years ago there was a loud bang in the middle of the night. In the morning we found someone had put an m80 or some explosive in the mailbox. Blew it apart and bent the shell up backwards!
