Peaceful place to be. I don't go boating anymore, but my family does. Maine has so many nice places to be during the summer.

I bet bet some neighbor gifted it to her. Betting she had to show it off to you!

I like having propane for DHW - even during extended power outages I will have hot water (my HW heater doesn't use electricity). When it cr*ps out, I'll have to research since I don't think they are available anymore.

Yeah, by law they can't transport the tank until it is down to 5% or less (I'm going by memory, so that is a +/-, but at least close). It took me a 1.5 years of planning to be able to change propane companies and get the 300 gallon behemoth tank out of my yard. I didn't get any money back, but I also didn't pay them anything to remove it.

Very open and exposed to the wind. I love visiting there every so often, but I wouldn't live there. I like the community itself, but it's surroundings are barren land rather than the heavy forest I prefer.

This wintertime drone shot by the same local man is beautiful.....yet kind of scary. The hill going down to the heart of Bay de Verde is very steep, I would not want to have to go down it during a snowfall, and even more so try to go uphill.

Well, I made a rookie mistake installing the bathtub valve. I ran 1/2" PEX from the valve to the spout....and this causes the shower head to drip/flow when filling the tub. I got some 3/4" PEX parts yesterday and fixed that this AM. w Thankfully I was able to sneak everything in through the tub surround openings and didn't have to open up the wall behind it. It wasn't fun, but neither is finishing drywall.

Granite gets installed next Monday. I need to get a sink drain line done and laundry chute hole cut before they get here. Lots easier to do now when there is no counter top in the way. Hopefully my door hinges will deliver today and I can install the doors on the extra cabinet.

Hey lukem is that cabinet depth real shallow or just an optical illusion?

It's real shallow...only 6.5". It is just taking up some unused space between two doors. More for looks than useable storage. We have a pretty small house so we're in the habit of making every square inch productive....and look nice in the process.

I had the same thought...blew the picture up to study it.
I thought maybe it was also covering up an plumbing access hole or something...I seen them do that on TOH before, took down an upper kitchen cabinet to access/change out an old shower head that needed to go.
Will you make matching uppers too?

Dang you. I hadn't even thought of uppers. Now I'm going to have to mention that to my wife, and she's probably going to like it, and I'm probably going to have to do it.

You owe me a sixer of beer.

That was my thought too. Mirrors sometimes make small spaces look bigger and can reflect some light.

This part of the landscape looks like a 3 toed foot to me, not sure what creature I'm thinking of. Maybe something prehistoric or mythical.
