I understand how difficult it can be. Hope that things will get easier for you to manage. I too thought I’d be needing warm compresses and stronger meds, but the Systane drops along with the allergy drops have made a difference. Our annual checkups were good. My cataracts haven’t really gotten worst, but I just have two small spots of retinopathy due to diabetes, but they are not in my field of vision. We don’t need to come back for another year. Good luck and hang in there.

We had drizzle all day and had a short downpour a few minutes ago. We haven’t had an overly wet spring, but it seems like it’s been misty and cloudy quite a bit. Might see the sun tomorrow, then back in the soup for Wednesday.

Thanks Al, I wish you the best too.

Would you know any diabetic shoes that are not outrageous in price? I googled but even the thin slippers are $50, and living where he does he'll need a decent sole.

Heidi, I’ve used Dr. Comfort and sometimes they have 20-30% off sales. Once they put diabetic in the description of the shoe it gets expensive. I’ve also found LLBean shoes are really good. Not diabetic shoes, but some are just as supportive and comfortable.

Thank you! In my googling I found a few different brands including LLBean that I thought maybe were miscatagorized. I get it now, appreciate it :) YES, the slippers I found looked like junk that I could buy but wouldn't for $10 at walmart, Im not diabetic but even I need better soles than a thin sheet of rubber under my feet. appreciate it :)

Being on this side of the country, I never thought of a lobster trap. We don't have those here.

Nasty day here....cool, breezy, and wet. Good grass growing weather.

Two more coats of drywall mud left to go. Should be painting by the weekend.

Not sure which Systane drops you use but I use Systane Balance and it does well.

Well that wasn't as dramatic as what we got. The one station said we got a bit over an inch in our town, but all around us got 1.75-2" +.

I just know we got a lot of rain.

Farmers are begging for rain. Lots more corn was planted Sunday and it got a bit warm too. I think it was around 85 then. In 50's now.

Tried the Maries coleslaw dressing and thanks for the heads up on it. Barbara and I like it allot. One jar does a pretty good batch. Even when I figure out the cost of everything its still less than the market.

That's great, we are not too coleslaw savvy, so we don't know what we may be missing.:D
