You’re a good man doing the absolute best you can. I too hope the social worker can help in a big way. Being a caregiver can be extremely hard on the body and mind. Try to keep your spirits up as best you can. Get any insight you can from the social worker to help make things easier, if that’s possible. Hang in there.

On a good note I made bread 3 times in the bread maker.. the last loaf that just finished making a while ago is 1/2 gone. The problem is I could eat the whole loaf in two hours like I did the last time. :) Its just white bread but boy is it good. Good way to get big I bet.

Better to celebrate for new free engine, unless alternators and starters are pricey on Sante Fe's. Remind me of what year it is?

Its a 2013. $300 for the starter, which is theft, but $300 for a new engine isn't so bad i guess.

This morning the temperature raised from 53 at 5:30 to 65 by 6:30. That is quick.

Wife heard something in the garage yesterday, thought I was home from work early and was using the circular saw or something...looked out and nobody is there...got spooked and called me, I'm said I have no idea what you heard! We figured it out then...when she went to pick our son up from school later, the garage door wouldn't open...spring broke. So I got to replace garage door springs last night...yay. Got ripped on them too...the local dealer had them, and I needed them...:picard: :emptywallet:

Yes, he was okay, he was resting between trips to his truck to bring groceries in. I grabbed the remaining bags. He had several loose bottles of water and Dr Peppers. I wonder if he can't lift a 12 pk or multipack of water. I'll grab an extra case for him and set it by his trailer next time I do a walmart pickup. mat60 , he has a propane furnace on the camper, maybe that keeps it warm enough inside for the water lines? Heat tape? And pretty sure he's directly hooked up to a septic tank/field. Definitly going to see if I can get him safer footwear.

PS, yes the furnace is vented through the roof of the barn.

I'd prefer it to not be so hot. I get plenty warm working.

Sorry to hear about your wife. Hope you get the help you need.

For veterans in this place, the VA does have hospice services.
