I have a few programs I use. I tried online a few times but didn't really care for it.

Not sure about 30 minute moves but I've played with several time controls and even with no time controls. I've never been rated that high but was climbing nicely on the charts when I called it quits, mainly because of work requirements interfering with tournaments.

USB 3.0 is the kind I'm used to, right?

Why would someone buy these? Or, not buy them?

I'd bite on those. The price is right.

WWW unfortunately loses his fair share of games by default, like one move every 3 days but he gets busy and forgets...... Next weekend signs back on and realizes.

I gave up on correspondence chess a long time ago. I just couldn't get into it much and now with super strong computers it is crazy.

It's not over yet thankfully. I looked out the window at kiddo playing in the back yard and spotted her and our dog licking snow off a patio chair. :yes::thumbs:

She does :) Neither of them know any different but they're nuts, doubt that water is much more than 40* :hair: It only gets in the 60's during our hottest month, July.

PS, they're draining the lake down to a puddle :headbang:. Several homeowners sued because a couple ancient dilapidated homes previous flooded in the 1980's, plus new owners here that were pizzed that the shore was eroding their land somehow got a court case 4 hours north of here in Douglass Wy and it went under the radar. Even the City and County are helpless, both depend on this lake to control flooding in town from snow pack run off, as well as the $$ generated from fishing lic/boat lic/and retailers in town that cater to those. And lets not forget the giant bomber airplane "Super Scooper" that dips her on the fly for wildfires. Granted my home is not worth a ton but no lake will drop the value even further :zip:

    I’m a Christian, but . . .
    by Linda Buxa

“I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24).

I never used to understand that passage. As I get older and see the war within me, the more I get it. In reality, I love Jesus, but I’m not always a big fan of some of the things he says, so I decide which part of his message I will promote and which part I will try to hide.

I believe, but I don’t want to deny myself.

I believe, but I don’t want to forgive as I have been forgiven.

I believe, but I don’t want to talk humbly to you about your sin.

I believe, but I don’t want to stop worrying.

I believe, but I’m not willing to confess my sins.

This is why the good news of Jesus is so important. Because we hear that “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Even while we were against him (not even believing), God was for us. He sent Jesus to live and die for us, buying us back from Satan, who owned us. Now the Holy Spirit works in us, reminding us that there are no “buts.”

    Now, like every high school fan base, we get to cheer, “I believe. . . . I believe that. . . . . I believe that we. . . . . I believe that we will win.”

    Forever

There's half the siding done on the garage. I'm almost out of planks, so I'll have to buy them if I want to finish the rest quickly...
