    Been freezing rain a few nites here lately. My logging division was going to start decking in a new job today. I left the yard later than I usually do because we are on seasonal slowdown. I just happen to leave right behind the truck delivering our Cat D-6 for deck prep. 2nd turn the truck made out of the yard he launched the Cat off the trailer into the other lane. By the time I got to the next rd to turn around and back they had it started and back on the trailer.
    I haven't inspected the damage yet but its gonna be ugly. There were better days to move that Cat than right after a few nights of freezing rain. I hate the aftertaste of chewing azz!!!!!

    I am setting by the fireplace thinking about getting up to get a beer. Problem is the wood stove won't move with me.... This sucks now I gotta dream about beer.:(

    Well I went Christmas shopping today. Figured I better get started. :DBrought some of the presents home for wife and kids and I got them wrapped while wife was gone. Then we went out and got her some more that the kids picked out. She should be a happy camper come Christmas morning! :thumbs: She does so much for us she deserves every bit of being spoiled at Christmas! Just got back from son's basketball practice. I just realized my wood supply is getting down there in the basement. Time to get up and bring some in.

    Blade hit road first. Left an 8' V shape gouge in the blacktop 12" deep .
    Can't believe the tracks stayed on.slid sideways and backwards 20'.
    I'm envisioning cracked final drive housings and rollers. Bent blade arms.

    Wow I drove semi for a long time and even ran oversized farm equipment and never saw anything like that! It's a miracle everybody's ok!

    Wow!!! Did any drivers need to do any evasive maneuvers to avoid this? Glad everyone is OK. A machine like that could've done some serious damage.
