Pretty much hasn't dipped below 50 since saturday morn. Yesterday was like 61. Too much warmth for December...

Yeah even warm up here, riding the 30 - 32 mark all week end, and supposed to be most of the week too. Have a feeling we'll be paying the price come Jan/Feb.

Ya. Remember how late winter held on with real cold temps through the end of March? We will see if things are about a month behind soon, or if it will be a mild winter. I'm hoping we get a week of -30s to kill off some bugs! Don't really like it that cold, but like the bad bugs even worse!

    Busy weekend.

Friday night we went to a 4yo birthday party for my wife's best friend's son. Her brother in law owns a 1929 Model A ford convertible and I got to talking to him for much of the time about cars and may get a ride in it  come spring.

Friday night I had the scare with the encore.o_O Still have the welt to prove it this morning, but figured out the cause - leftover debris form rebuild - and turns out I should be able to clean it out with only minor disassembly.

Saturday I hung out with the kids while my wife went out antiquing again. She came home with some new art for the walls and a colonial looking mirror so I spent a lot of time moving wall hangings Saturday evening. The stove room is looking more and more 18th century.. i like it.

Sunday was my day, so I met my buddy and off to our hobby airfield. We are in full blown winter mode now, and I will say that the truck is really paying off. The dirt access road was completely swamped under 6 or 8 inches of standing water from the recent rains but I drove in no problem.... and the tow package big battery is a champ running the electrically heated handmit for 4 hours without issue.

I was going to say something about how I am sick with the flu, but then I got to thinking how other people have "real" problems so I will just say I'm glad to be alive, warm and looked after.

    Have a great day all.

funny that's exactly how it happened, head just hit the pillow...... and phone rings, change alarm from 4:45 to 2:15 wake up and make it happen. Another day at the office, no whining - well if the gov't wasn't taking my first 4 hours of OT
