We're about to see the same here soon FP. Be careful and stay upright.

Gonna see if I can get a couple bucket loads of splits dumped into one of the new bins today before that ice crap shows up.

Also gonna tune in on C-Span 3 @ 9:30 to watch Gruber get some questions as to why he thinks Americans are so stupid... ought to be fun.

35 with threats of snow, sleet, and slippery roads,,BUT I'll bet it won't be anything like pictured above^^.
Hippie Bob wants to butcher some birds today and maybe swim a few thru hot oil and the the smoker. Plenty of cold frosties on hand, just need some smoked jowl bacon.
The garage is a wreck, need to service the power jet on me snow blower and get it out of the way, the workbench has a couple/few Coleman lanterns torn down,,man I need to get busy and square things away out there. Sure hope the weather holds out and we can have a little "fest" in the garage this evening,,,
    Be safe. Peace.

Sander made it up the street backwards.

Rotti- I used ashes on the walkway. It worked awesome. The rain will wash it into the lawn by days end. Thanks for the tip.

Windy and wet. Pineapple express from Hawaii has the temps at 11 C (52 F) That was the low last night. Nobody wants to go out in this. Sure glad it isn't icy with all the moisture we have.

    Holy rain batman!

Really coming down here. Backyard is a pond. Sump pump has been running in the basement. Rain tripped the outside outlet GFCI on the Christmas lights a couple times. Cold and raw.

    Yuck.

Id rather have 2 feet of snow!

Yuck, cold rainy weather definitely sucks. Latest report up here is that we are going to miss the bulk of the snow from this storm up here. Temps here are supposed to bounce around the freezing mark all week long.

My patient (hubby) is getting cranky. I don't blame him, being sick for so long and he is frustrated to miss another day of work today. Crossing my fingers he can atleast do a 1/2 day tomorrow :) My lil ones God Mother is driving up tomorrow, taking her swimming! My patient needs a break from our "daddy's girl".

Sipping coffee waiting for the sun. Today's job is cleaning gutters 2.5 stories up, splitting wood for a customer who refuses to pay me to do it a year in advance no matter how much I suggest it, and also raising their kids swings which are hung from a tree branch about 25 feet up.

That's all paid work...once I'm home, I'm replacing a neighbors water heater pro bono.

I have a 1989 GMC plow truck with chains on it. I have a blade on the tractor, but I don't have the chains on it yet. There is a layer of ice under the snow, the chains are a must. That wet crap was hard to push.

Yeah... that kinda snow is more like wet concrete... and if it isn't moved, becomes dry concrete when it freezes. Go easy my friend.
